Magic awaits with the Malliway Bros!
Witches, wizards, sorcerers, warlocks, enchanters, and magic-makers of all kinds will find community and fun at the Witches' Conclave. We offer workshops and rituals focusing on various aspects of witchcraft with an emphasis on being operative and results-oriented. Practitioners of all skill levels are welcome to attend our meetings, whether you're a fresh witchling just starting off or have been working the weird ways of witchcraft for ages.
We provide inclusive rituals for the phases of the moon and open celebrations for the witch's sabbats. Our classes focus on a wide spectrum of traditional and operative magic, drawing inspiration from our time in the wilds of England's west country.
The Conclave often gathers at our witch shop, Malliway Bros, located at 1407 W Morse Avenue, in the bustling Roger's Park neighborhood of Chicago.
THE WITCHES' CONCLAVE CODE OF CONDUCT
No matter our paths, what spirits we work with, or what forces we conjure, at the Witches' Conclave let's gather in peace. We are here to learn and to spread our magic and in order to do this, there are a few guidelines to follow:
-No photography or recordings of others without their permission.
-Respect other's privacy if they do not wish to share personal information, social media, email, phone numbers, addresses, or spend time outside of the Conclave.
-Do not use the Conclave as a dating pool.
-Do not solicit other members for business or money during events.
-Do not come to or become intoxicated during any classes or rituals. Drinking alcohol is accepted during social events but if it gets out of control, you will be escorted from the event. Repeated offences will result in a ban.
-Any kind of discrimination against another is prohibited. Intentional discrimination will result in a ban.
-Physical or sexual harassment will result in a ban.

See you there!In May 1693, the infamous Salem Witch Trials finally came to an end. This took with it a bloody history of witch hunts and accusations. While this era was a devastating one for us, it was also very defining. From the trials, we now know what it means to be witches. So, now on the anniversary of their end, we will celebrate the pride of being the magical people that we are!
In this event, we will get together to honor those that were executed, true witches or not, and work our way through a mock trial. In this trial, we'll declare ourselves as witches, confess our most blasphemous of bewitching deeds, and work a ritual to turn around our most woeful lows.

Malliway's Academy: Spirit of the Witch Course III

There will only be a certain amount of tickets available so that the each class has more room for personal attention. Because these classes are a four-part course, it is best to attend each one or you will not be able to work through all of the class activities.
Full class course tickets can be purchased HERE for $120.Welcome to Malliway's Academy of the Broken Road! If you are serious in your explorations of magic and wish to wear the witch's mantle, then these courses will help give you a solid foundation, essential skills, and hands-on practice to develop your bewitching array. Alongside our standalone classes on different magical subjects, our Malliway's Academy courses will include a curriculum of four classes, each building on the next to find your own way on the Broken Road of witchcraft. Homework will be assigned for each class and those who attend each one will be given a diploma to prove their hard work!
In the Spirit of the Witch, we will learn all about energy and its uses in magic. This will include how to perceive, harness, and employ these forces, as well as where they come from and how different forms of magic use them. For our purposes, we will be focusing on the different facets of our own spirits as the lens through which we understand these powers.
This third class will take us through different methods of harnessing and manipulating the energy around us. This will take us through exercises on projecting, receiving, practicing different functions of energy, and working magic to strengthen our own spirits.

We'll be raising power as a group tonight so make sure you bring any desires your working toward so that they can be empowered by our mill. Also feel free to bring any items or talismans you might also want empowered. These rituals will work best when everyone is putting their all into it so they can get intense. But if you're ready for that then buckle up buckaroo for some powerful witchery!

See you there!Few things are as intimidating for a lot of witches as taking on the Kabbalah. But so much of western magic is based on this practice that once you learn a little, you start seeing the origins of so many magical beliefs, and how to begin building on it yourself.
This workshop will introduce people to the Kabbalah through the Tree of Life which maps out the flow and order of magic in our universe. We'll explain its symbolism, connection to tarot, variations, and how to incorporate it in your own magic. We'll make this an easy discussion for those just starting off or curious about this path.
