Magic awaits with the Malliway Bros!
Witches, wizards, sorcerers, warlocks, enchanters, and magic-makers of all kinds will find community and fun at the Witches' Conclave. We offer workshops and rituals focusing on various aspects of witchcraft with an emphasis on being operative and results-oriented. Practitioners of all skill levels are welcome to attend our meetings, whether you're a fresh witchling just starting off or have been working the weird ways of witchcraft for ages.
We provide inclusive rituals for the phases of the moon and open celebrations for the witch's sabbats. Our classes focus on a wide spectrum of traditional and operative magic, drawing inspiration from our time in the wilds of England's west country.
The Conclave often gathers at our witch shop, Malliway Bros, located at 1407 W Morse Avenue, in the bustling Roger's Park neighborhood of Chicago.
THE WITCHES' CONCLAVE CODE OF CONDUCT
No matter our paths, what spirits we work with, or what forces we conjure, at the Witches' Conclave let's gather in peace. We are here to learn and to spread our magic and in order to do this, there are a few guidelines to follow:
-No photography or recordings of others without their permission.
-Respect other's privacy if they do not wish to share personal information, social media, email, phone numbers, addresses, or spend time outside of the Conclave.
-Do not use the Conclave as a dating pool.
-Do not solicit other members for business or money during events.
-Do not come to or become intoxicated during any classes or rituals. Drinking alcohol is accepted during social events but if it gets out of control, you will be escorted from the event. Repeated offences will result in a ban.
-Any kind of discrimination against another is prohibited. Intentional discrimination will result in a ban.
-Physical or sexual harassment will result in a ban.

Tickets for this class can be purchased on eventbrite or in the shop. There will only be a certain amount of tickets available so that the each class has more room for personal attention. Because these classes are a four-part course, it is best to attend each one.

Or save $20 by purchasing the full course HERE for $100.Introducing our new multi-part series of magical study the Chicago Folk Magic Course. Unlike our other classes, in these lessons we will work through a curriculum to advance with the art of folk magic from class to class. This will include homework, in-class experimentation, taking on magical disciplines, and personal attention in smaller groups.
Our third class will focus on connecting to spirits of the dead, place, nature, and so on. We will learn about the differences between these spirits, how to work with them, commune, make pacts, and give offerings. During this class we will practice conjuring friendly spirits to work acts of magic with.

We'll be using eventbrite to keep track of who is joining us so we will not use the list on meetup. But you are also free to pay in person if you don't want to get your ticket on eventbrite. See you there!The road opening spell is a favorite among many witches for solving many manners of problems. It is a spell to clear away blockages and open opportunities to its seeker. In other words, if you should have a goal in mind, this magic will work to remove any obstacles towards achieving that goal. We will gather in the Conclave to cast this very spell! So, come to this ritual with a goal in mind and an emblem of some kind that represents it. As always, be ready to volunteer for a role in our ritual!

See you there!Many systems of magic function by the belief in different laws on how magic works and how spells are cast. Each of these are powerful methods, and to the magician who credits them, essential laws by which magic must follow. The law of sympathy, threefold law, and doctrine of signatures are some methods at the tip of the iceberg. In this class, we will review several laws of magic to determine what might suit our own beliefs best.
This will be a slightly advanced class with in depth discussion on differing magical world views. It will challenge our own beliefs and hopefully expand our understanding of magic. We will also work a few spells using a few of these laws to compare and contrast their uses.
