About us
We're a group of friendly people from in and around Northampton who enjoy walking, socialising, and exploring the great outdoors. We welcome people of all ages and aim to provide a comprehensive walking programme and to be as inclusive as possible.
We usually offer half day walks on Wednesdays and Saturdays and more strenuous full day walks on Fridays and Sundays. There are also shorter walks on the first Tuesday of each month. To see our full programme visit www.northamptonra.org.uk
So, if you like walking and want to get a bit fitter, or would like to try out a new activity whilst meeting new friends along the way, you've found the right group!
We will welcome you on any walk; just choose one suitable for you. RSVP to one of our walks on Meetup then just turn up and introduce yourself to the walk leader. The published time is when we leave so please turn up at least 10 minutes before in order to get kitted up.
Non members are welcome to join up to three walks before becoming members of the Ramblers.

Morning Walk from East Haddon
The Red Lion, East Haddon, Main Street, East Haddon, Northampton, GBA 6.5 mile walk led by Adrian D.
This walk is provided by Ramblers Northampton. Don't worry if there aren't many attendees listed on Meetup, there will be several Ramblers members on the walk. If this is your first walk with us, please make yourself known to the walk leader at the start.

Walk Details
The walk will start from the pub in East Haddon. We will walk to the edge of Ravensthorpe Reservoir via Holdenby House and then back to East Haddon. It will mostly be on field paths and cinder tracks. There are three fairly steep hills to climb and some of the ground is uneven. Only one stile though. There will be livestock in the fields so assistance dogs only please.2 attendees
Day Walk from Aldwincle
Titchmarsh Nature Reserve Free Car Park, Lowick Road, Aldwincle, Northants NN14 3EE, GBA 14.5 mile walk led by Chris E.
This is a strenuous day walk suitable for experienced walkers.

Walk Details
A meandering route along the Nene valley taking in Lowick, Woodford, Ringstead, Denford and Islip.
There will be a lunchtime stop at the club in Ringstead where it's okay to eat our own packed lunch if buying a drink. The club doesn't serve food so bring all that you need for the day.
