What we’re about
This group is for anyone in Vallejo and the surrounding areas who is looking for friendship and community. The hope is this group will create space for folks to connect with the people they know they’re spending Friday night with, they can hit up when they hear about a cool event, or can invite over for movies because that paycheck ain’t hitting the same way it used to. We’re going to keep thing simple at first: grabbing drinks, going out for coffee, and trying new restaurants. We can get spicier with our events as we grow our community.
Community Rules:
🧋 Photo Policy: I will only accept people into the group who have a photo of themselves as their profile picture. This is a safety rule so we know who to be approaching or looking for at events.
🧋 Attendance Policy: Please have the courtesy to update your RSVP if you can’t attend an event you RSVPed for. If you RSVP for two events and no show, you will be removed from the group.
🧋 Romance Policy: Our events are not dating events. Do not join this space with the intention to mingle or try to find your next flame. Attendees should let the organizer know if someone is abusing the space. I will certainly be delighted for you if a connection springs from our outings, but don't force romance into this platonic space.
🧋 Intentional Space: I will occasionally go through our members and remove those who have never attended an event, interacted with the group, or haven't attended an event in a long time. I want this group to be full of engaged, active people, and removal is nothing personal! ♥️ If you end up being removed due to inactivity, you can absolutely request to rejoin!
