Looking for a fun and playful evening where you can meet new people without the pressure of awkward small talk? Join us for Play Night at Oche Amsterdam, a stylish social games venue.

We'll spend the evening playing (interactive) darts, board games and enjoying good conversations over drinks. Whether you're competitive or just here for the laughs: there's something for everyone.

A selection of board games is available, but feel free to bring your own games too!

Whether you are hyperfixated on deep space, vintage keychains, mechanical keyboards, a niche history event or your latest creative project: This is a space to share what brings you joy or just listen and learn about new topics.

Grab a seat, get comfortable, and relax before we kick things off.

•⁠ ⁠19:15 – 19:45 | 5-Minute "Show & Tell" Mini-Talks
We’ll have up to 6 quick, informal 5-minute slots for anyone who wants to share a passion, show an object or talk about a hyperfixation. (Presenting is 100% optional. you are more than welcome to just listen!)

•⁠ ⁠19:45 – 21:00 | Open Mingling & Hanging Out
Use the icebreakers to chat with people about their interests or just hang out at your own pace. Stay as long or as short as you like.

Good to Know (Sensory & Social Environment)
•⁠ ⁠Low Pressure: You don't have to present, stay the whole time, or force small talk. Stimming, taking quiet breaks, or stepping outside whenever you need a breather is completely fine.
•⁠ ⁠Relational Storytelling Welcome: Connecting through parallel experiences, sharing niche facts and infodumping are encouraged here!
•⁠ ⁠The Space: OBA Oosterdok is calm, spacious and low-sensory compared to typical social venues like pubs or crowded cafes.
•⁠ ⁠How to Find Us: We’ll post exact details and a landmark/sign in the meetup chat on the day of the event so you know precisely where to walk up to.

Want to Present a 5-Minute Topic?
If you’d like to claim one of the 5-minute Show & Tell spots, sign-up with the hosts when you arrive to the meet up. Spots are first-come, first-served, but totally casual. No slide decks needed unless you want to bring something physical to hold up or show.
