About us
This group is here to support you in healing, growing, and building lasting, secure, and healthy relationships.
I’m Diliya, Relationship Therapeutic Coach, founder of The Raw Academy™. I created this space because I’m deeply passionate about helping people understand why they love the way they do — and how past wounds, attachment dynamics, emotional conditioning, and protective behaviours can shape the way they connect, communicate, and relate.
At The Raw Academy™, I use my Love Blueprint™ framework to help you explore the deeper layers of your relationship patterns. It is not a diagnosis, but a reflective way to understand what you may have learned through past experiences, family dynamics, unmet needs, conflict cycles, and the ways you’ve adapted to feel safe in love.
A gentle place to begin is with the free Love Blueprint™ Self-Discovery Tool. This reflective tool is designed to help you start recognising the patterns that may be shaping your life and relationships. It takes roughly 10 minutes!
💌 Click here to take the self-discovery tool and get your personalised insight report.
Whether you're single, dating, partnered, married, healing from a breakup, navigating a situationship, or simply trying to understand yourself better in relationships, this space is for you.
Each month, I host free, interactive webinars where we explore topics such as attachment patterns, trauma responses, emotional safety, boundaries, communication, conflict, self-worth, and the unconscious patterns that often shape our love lives.
This group is for you if you want to:

⚠️ Please read below, thank you.
Have you ever known you were upset, anxious, angry or hurt, but struggled to understand exactly what you were feeling or why?
Or perhaps you have reacted to someone, then realised later that what you thought was happening may not have been the full story.
Emotional intelligence plays an important role in how we understand ourselves, communicate with others and build healthy relationships.
In this free 60-minute psychoeducational webinar, we will explore how emotional intelligence can help you understand your emotions more clearly, recognise the meaning you attach to situations, and become more curious about both yourself and others.
This is Part 1 of 3 of the Emotional Intelligence webinar series. It focuses on one of the foundations of emotional intelligence: understanding yourself and others more accurately.

Emotional Intelligence & Relationships: Emotional Regulation & Triggers
·OnlineOnline(NEW) PART 2 OF THE EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE SERIES
⚠️ Please ensure you read below, thank you.
Have you ever known that you were becoming anxious, angry, defensive or overwhelmed — and still found yourself reacting in a way you later wished you had handled differently?
Perhaps you send the message even though part of you knows you should wait. You become defensive before you have really heard what the other person is saying. You withdraw when things feel too intense. Or you only realise how activated you were once the moment has already passed.
Understanding your emotions is important. But knowing what you are feeling does not always mean you can change what happens next.
In this free 60-minute psychoeducational webinar, we will explore emotional regulation, triggers and what can happen when emotions intensify in relationships. You will learn to recognise some of the signs of emotional activation, understand the difference between an emotional urge and a reaction, and begin noticing where greater choice may become possible.
This is Part 2 of the Emotional Intelligence series and builds on the self-awareness explored in Part 1 by asking a different question:
What happens when I understand what I am feeling — but still struggle to respond the way I want to?
👉🏽 This webinar may be helpful if you...
- understand your patterns but still struggle to change how you react
- become anxious, defensive, angry or overwhelmed in relationships
- tend to overthink, pursue, withdraw or shut down when triggered
- find it difficult to pause once emotions become intense
- often understand what happened only after the interaction is over
👉🏽 We'll be exploring:
- What emotional regulation really means — and why it is different from suppression
- How triggers can lead to activation, urges and automatic reactions
- How emotional activation can affect your thoughts, body and behaviour
- Why knowing what to do does not always make it easier to do in the moment
- How greater awareness can create more space between feeling and reacting
- How repeated reactions can affect communication, trust and connection

Emotional Intelligence & Relationships: Communication, Conflict & Repair
·OnlineOnline(NEW) PART 3 OF THE EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE SERIES
⚠️ Please ensure you read below, thank you.
Have you ever gone into a conversation wanting to communicate well — only to find yourself becoming defensive, shutting down, overexplaining, arguing your point or feeling completely misunderstood?
Perhaps you and the other person remember the same interaction differently. You feel unheard while they feel criticised. You are trying to resolve something while they experience pressure. Or what begins as a small disagreement quickly becomes about something much bigger.
Emotional intelligence is not only about understanding and managing our own emotions. It also shapes how we listen, communicate, handle differences and reconnect when things go wrong.
In this 60-minute psycho-educational webinar, we will explore how emotional intelligence operates between two people — particularly during communication, disagreement and conflict. We will look at empathy, perspective-taking, assumptions, emotional responsiveness and repair, and why healthy relationships do not require two people to experience the same situation in exactly the same way.
This is Part 3 of the Emotional Intelligence and brings together the self-awareness and emotional regulation explored in Parts 1 and 2 by asking:
How do we stay connected to ourselves while making room for someone else’s emotional experience?
👉🏽 We'll be exploring:
- How emotional intelligence influences communication, conflict and connection
- Why two people can experience the same interaction very differently
- The difference between empathy, validation and agreement
- How assumptions and defensiveness can change a conversation
- Why listening becomes harder when emotions are activated
- Why repair matters when communication or connection breaks down
👉🏽 This webinar may be helpful if you...
- often feel misunderstood or unheard in relationships
- become defensive, withdrawn or reactive during difficult conversations
- struggle to understand another person’s perspective when you disagree
- find conflict quickly turns into blame, proving or shutting down
- want healthier communication without abandoning your own needs
- want to better understand empathy, emotional responsiveness and repair
You do not need to have attended Parts 1 or 2, although joining the full series will give you a more complete understanding of how emotional intelligence influences relationships.
