Tabletop Roleplaying - Daggerheart One-Shot (Saturday)
Capital One Cafe, 400 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue, wa, USTTRPGs are collaborative storytelling with some combat. You might like it if you enjoy social deduction games, wargames, or video games like Final Fantasy or Baldur's Gate.
Anyone’s welcome to join! You can be an oldschool veteran or brand new to the hobby. This event and the game system we're using are LGBTQ+ friendly.
This meets Saturday at the South Atrium red tables of the Lincoln Tower Capital One Cafe, one floor down from the social club's usual meeting place in the food court.
--- Adventure Details ---
In this lighthearted swashbuckling adventure, you are an elite team defending dangerous cargo aboard a merchant airship, when you come under attack from a band of sky pirates! Your team must fight in close quarters to repel boarders and protect civilians on the airship.
This is an original adventure using the Daggerheart TTRPG system, which is easy to learn in minutes. No preparation or experience is required. The adventure comes with premade characters so all you have to do is show up. If you'd like to create a character, please show up 30 minutes early.
It’ll be a 3-6 player game that lasts around four hours, in a single session. I plan on running this adventure multiple times, and you can return for later sessions if you want to try a different character. You're welcome to bring pencils or dice (d4-d20 set) if you have them.
Daggerheart is similar to D&D, but improves upon some of D&D's clunkier parts. I’ve run several years-long D&D 5e campaigns in the past, and I love this new system! I'll explain how everything works the day of the adventure, so no knowledge of Daggerheart is required. However, if you're curious, you can find information on their official site: https://www.daggerheart.com

I plan on running a campaign in the same setting in a month or two. We have a discussion thread "Tabletop Roleplaying: Daggerheart" on the group's Discord server, linked below. You can ask questions and discuss the adventure or campaign there.

Blood on the Clocktower [Social Deduction Game]
Lincoln Square South - 2nd Floor Food Court, 500 Bellevue Way NE,, Bellevue, WA, USJoin us for Blood on the Clocktower! This is a popular social deduction game full of logic and deception. Players will randomly be given a good or evil role, each with a unique ability. This game is similar to Werewolf or Mafia, except it's even more expansive!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We will have 4 simultaneous games running. The plan is as follows (potentially subject to change):- Beginner game: aimed at new players or people who want to play a simpler script. The script will be Trouble Brewing.
- Intermediate game: aimed at people who want to play a moderately complex script. The script will be Bad Moon Rising, Sects & Violets, or a simpler custom script
- Advanced games: aimed at people who want to play a more complex script. The scripts will include experimental characters, potentially Fabled and/or Loric, and might be completely homebrew. There will be 2 advanced games.
These are not hard guidelines. You are welcome to join whichever game you'd like!
If there are not enough RSVPs for 4 games, we will have 3 games, combining the Intermediate game and one of the Advanced games.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Things to know about this event- This game involves deception, communication, and piecing together information, some of which may be false. You will either be trying to deceive the other players, or figure out which players are trying to deceive you.
- The game length is variable depending on a variety of factors, but a typical game lasts somewhere between 1 to 2 hours.
- Parking in the garage underneath the Lincoln Square South tower is free as long as you leave after 8pm.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
RSVP & Waitlist Policy:RSVPs for this event open at 11pm on the Tuesday before the event.
