## 🌿 The Healthy Sensitive Meetup Group: A Sanctuary and a Training Ground for Highly Sensitive People and Curious Rebels 🌿
A Phoenix Rising Family Medicine Community
***
### Highly Sensitive People: The Everyday Heroes No One Sees
In a world that values toughness and resilience, highly sensitive people (HSPs) are often overlooked. Yet, they are the quiet visionaries, deep thinkers, and compassionate changemakers who bring depth, creativity, and connection into every space they enter.
But the world wasn’t built for them.
And without support, highly sensitive people often find themselves overwhelmed, burned out, and disconnected from their own needs.
***
### The Curious Rebel Layer (a.k.a. Why You Might Be Here)
Many highly sensitive people are also what we call curious rebels.
Not rebels in the loud, rule-breaking sense—but in the quieter, more inconvenient (for society) way:
- You don’t just want to know what to do—you want to know if it actually makes sense
- You notice inconsistencies in systems, relationships, and “the way things are done”
- You ask “why” more than most people are comfortable with
- You’d rather have a deep, slightly unhinged conversation than make small talk about the weather
- You’ve probably been told you’re “too much,” “too intense,” or “too sensitive”
You’re not trying to be difficult.
You just… can’t unsee things.
And that level of awareness?
It’s a gift.
But it’s also exhausting.
Because being a curious rebel often means living in high-definition in a world that prefers things blurry.
***
### The Challenges HSPs (and Curious Rebels) Face
💠Feeling Overstimulated – Your brain doesn’t have a “mute button,” and it shows
💬 Struggling to Set Boundaries – You feel everything, including things that aren’t yours
💪 Pushing Too Hard or Withdrawing Completely – You oscillate between over-functioning and shutting down
❤️ Feeling Misunderstood – Because most people aren’t tracking what you’re tracking
This isn’t because you’re weak.
It’s because your system is processing more.
***
### Why This Group Exists
This isn’t just another Meetup.
It’s a space for people who:
- think deeply
- feel deeply
- and are a little tired of pretending they don’t
It’s for those who don’t want surface-level fixes.
It’s for people who want to:
- understand themselves
- recognize their patterns
- build a life that actually feels aligned—not just one that looks good
Here, we don’t see sensitivity as something to “fix.”
We see it as something to:
> understand, work with, and ultimately trust

### Hosted by Phoenix Rising Family Medicine
This community is proudly hosted by Phoenix Rising Family Medicine—an integrative primary care clinic focused on helping people understand the deeper roots of burnout, chronic stress, and whole-person health.
At Phoenix Rising, we don’t just look at symptoms—we explore the patterns, environments, and lived experiences that shape your well-being.
This Meetup is an extension of that philosophy:
> that healing happens when we look deeper, get curious, and work with the whole person—not just isolated problems.

### What We Offer: A Roadmap to Thriving
🌱 Practical tools rooted in psychology and coaching
đź› Strategies for managing energy, emotions, and overstimulation
đź’¬ Deep, meaningful conversations (you will not be asked about your favorite weather pattern)
đź“– Workshops on relationships, boundaries, burnout, and personal growth
***
### Why Community Matters
Because doing this alone is… unnecessarily hard.
When highly sensitive, curious people come together:
- things start to make sense
- patterns become visible
- and what once felt like “too much” becomes insight
And when that happens?
People don’t just survive.
They build lives that actually work.
***
### This Is Your Invitation
If you’ve ever thought:
- “Why does everything feel so intense?”
- “Why do I notice things other people don’t?”
- “Why can’t I just… be normal?”
You’re probably not broken.
You’re probably just wired differently.
And you might be exactly who this group is for.
✨ Join us. Your sensitivity isn’t the problem—it’s the starting point. ✨

·OnlineOnline# 🌿 Unbound: A Curious Rebel Meetup (Education)
Hosted on Zoom | Free Weekly Sessions
***
## What This Is
This is a space for people who want to build something meaningful in their lives…
without burning themselves out in the process.
Maybe that’s a business.
A creative project.
A new way of living.
A healthier relationship with yourself.
Whatever it is—you don’t have to figure it out alone.
This group is built around the Unbound framework, which blends:- burnout recovery

- and real-life application
***

***

- talk through real-life application
Less teaching. More conversation.

***
## Who This Is For
This group is for people who:
- think deeply and feel deeply
- are tired of surface-level solutions
- want to understand why they’re burned out—not just fix it temporarily
- are curious about doing life differently
You don’t have to identify as a “curious rebel”…
but if you tend to question things, you’ll probably feel at home here.***
## A Note on Participation
You’ll get the most out of this if you:
- show up consistently (when you can)
- reflect on the material
- engage in conversation
But there is no pressure to perform, share, or keep up.
You get to engage at your own pace.***
## This Week's Topic:
Monday, June 1st | 12:00–1:00 PM Pacific
There is a particular kind of courage required to begin something new.
Not just thinking about it… but actually stepping forward.
And for many of us—especially those who are driven, thoughtful, and deeply engaged with life—that courage is often complicated by something else:
A very real fear of burnout.
In this one-hour session, we’ll explore burnout in a way that goes beyond the surface. Not just “feeling tired,” but the patterns that quietly shape how we respond to excitement, ambition, and the desire to create something meaningful.
Together, we’ll walk through a simple, powerful framework for burnout recovery:- Rest — creating space to step out of survival mode
- Reveal — understanding your patterns, tendencies, and what you actually want
- Regulate — learning how to support your nervous system instead of overriding it
- Revise — taking sustainable, aligned action toward your life
This is not about fixing yourself.
It’s about understanding how you work—and learning to move forward without burning out.16 attendees
Curious Rebel Book Club/Experiments
·OnlineOnline## 🌿 Unbound: A Coaching Circle & Book Club for Sensitive Builders
Tuesdays at 12pm PT | Ongoing
This group is for thoughtful, sensitive people who feel called to create something—
a book, a business, a community, a different kind of life…
…and who also carry a very real fear:
“What if I burn out in the process?”
You don’t have to choose between building something meaningful and protecting your energy.
That’s exactly what we’re here to explore—together.***
## ✨ What This Group Is
This is a coaching circle and book club using the Unbound Workbook and Unbound E-Book as a shared framework.
Unlike the Monday sessions (which are more educational), this space is for:- discussion
- reflection
- real-life application
- and setting small, meaningful goals
You can think of it as:
“Where the material becomes real.”***
## 🧠How It Works
Each week, we’ll:
- discuss themes from the Unbound material
- reflect on what’s coming up for you personally
- support each other in applying the work to real life
- set gentle, realistic goals for the week ahead
You are welcome to:
- share
- listen
- ask questions
- or simply observe
No pressure to perform. No need to have it “figured out.”
***
## 📚 About the Material (Optional)
We’ll be drawing from the Unbound Workbook and E-Book.
You are NOT required to purchase anything to attend.
You are absolutely welcome to drop in, listen, and participate in discussion.
That said, having the materials will likely give you:- more context
- more structure
- and more tools to work with between sessions
If you’d like to access them:
For $27, you’ll receive:- a 232-page visual workbook
- an e-reader version (Nook/Kindle compatible)
- an editable document with reflection activities
***
## 🟢 Want More Context? (Optional Monday Sessions)
If you’d like more background and education on the material:
We host a free education session every Monday at 12pm PT.- Mondays = learning and understanding
- Tuesdays = discussion and integration
You’re welcome to attend both—or just one.
***
## 🌊 What We’ll Explore
Through the Unbound framework, we’ll explore:
- burnout patterns (Warrior, Fortress, Winging It)
- nervous system regulation
- boundaries, relationships, and energy management
- meaning, purpose, and values
- how to create something meaningful without burning out
***
## ✍️ Weekly Practice: Permission Slips
Each week, you’ll be invited to write simple “permission slips” to yourself.
These are small, honest statements that help you:- choose what actually aligns with you
- let go of what isn’t yours
- and relate to your life with more self-trust
***
## đź’› Who This Is For
This group is especially for:
- highly sensitive people (HSPs)
- deep thinkers and feelers
- people who want to create something meaningful
- people who are tired of pushing themselves to exhaustion
***
## đź’› Bottom Line
This isn’t about fixing yourself.
It’s about:- understanding how you’re wired
- honoring your energy
- and building a life that actually fits
If you’ve been wanting to create something…
but haven’t known how to do it without burning out—
you’re in the right place.This Week's Theme:
The Burnout Cycle and Stages of Burnout Recovery
This session is entirely discussion-based.
After exploring the framework for burnout recovery, this is where we slow down and make it personal.
Burnout doesn’t look the same for everyone.
For some, it looks like pushing too hard for too long.
For others, it looks like hesitation, withdrawal, or inconsistency.
In this space, we’ll talk openly about:- Where you feel you are within the burnout cycle
- What patterns you recognize in yourself
- Something you feel called to create—but are afraid might lead to burnout
