Welcome to The Compass Connection — because everyone needs a little direction 🧭
This is a welcoming singles community for adults in the Austin area (especially 30s & 40s) who are ready to step away from app fatigue and meet real people in real life.
We will host two types of events:
- Mixers (low-pressure)
These are relaxed, conversation-forward social nights with light interactive setups (games, prompts, or small stations) to make it easy to meet people without the awkwardness. - Speed Dating (structured + fun)
These events include short, timed conversation rounds with curated prompts and a private matching system — so you can focus on chemistry and connection without pressure or public rejection.
This is a singles group — but not every connection has to be romantic.
Come open to what feels right: a spark, a new friend, a future date, or simply a great conversation. You just might meet your next best friend. All outcomes count as wins.

• Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, or unwanted physical contact.
• Respect boundaries. “No” is a complete sentence.
• Be present. Phones away during structured rounds (speed dating).
• Respect privacy. Don’t pressure anyone for contact info or how they “matched.”
• If you feel uncomfortable, tell the host. We take concerns seriously.
Anyone who violates these standards will be asked to leave and may be banned from future events.
