I will be at the Chihuly site inside near the entrance to meet people at 12pm, but it opens at 10 am, if you want to come early. This is probably a few hours meetup, as the Morean Art Center will have glass-making demonstrations to see. Also the interior spaces of the Morean museum will be open, as well. This Meetup will have the 2 museums to see, the glass-making demo, and a free trolley to the Clay Center. And if you like to have some late afternoon places to visit, the Pier will also be open through using the free trolley. This is a marvelous site to photograph, to watch the demonstration, and to partake of the Chihuly Collection of amazing glass art sculptures. Morean Glass Demonstrations: Monday-Saturday: 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm. The glass demo will show how glass sculptures are created, and how tweaks render them to different shapes and styles. A long telephoto lens will work for this, if you want to zoom in on the glass-making. A camera with a normal lens is good for individual subjects; but depending on your fancy, a zoom is good for capturing parts of large subjects.
