What we’re about
TAM is group for Asians (East and SE Asians) in Toronto and GTA. Our goal is to create a friendly safe environment that enables people to do activities we enjoy such as Walks, Hiking, Food and other random activities such as festivals, museums, food etc. Asians include Chinese, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines etc.

Walk and Salmon watching (hopefully) ($2 OR free)
Etienne Brule Park, 13 Crosby Ave, Toronto, ON, CASalmons are expected to be swimming upstream. An annual upward migration. We will spend some time to watch at a few spots and then continue with our walk and return back to the starting point. We will wait until 3:10pm and start walking. If you arrive late, pls follow the Humber River Trail heading north and you can catch up with the group.
Distance: 7 to 9km
Difficulty: Easy
Transport
Recommend taking TTC or Uber.TTC: Get off Old Mill station and walk to the park.
Parking: There is Paid & Free Parking available nearby meeting spot. Pls look up if you are driving.

Hiking at Rouge National Urban Park - Toronto Asian Meetup
Location not specified yetLets hike at Rouge National Urban Park. This is a popular hiking spot close to the city. Pls aim to arrive 12pm. We will wait 15 mins for people to show up and then start walking at 12:15pm.
No TTC access. You must drive or carpool to reach the Meeting Spot.
Distance: 6 to 9km (we will adjust the distance based on weather and how much energy we have that day).
Difficulty: Mostly Easy but some uphill and downhill.

Fall colors walk / hike at Earl Bales park
Earl Bales Community Center, 4169 Bathurst St, North York, ON, CALets go for a hike/walk at the trails of Earl Bales park and the nearby trails. We will wait 15 mins for people to show up and then start walking at 1:15pm. Pls arrive on-time or early because the Host may not be able to respond to calls/texts once the walk starts.
