Since 1924, more than 4 million people around the world have become more confident speakers and leaders because of their participation in Toastmasters. we are a fully online club via Zoom.

Born and raised in South Texas, Luisa Montalvo worked at Abbott Laboratories for 25 years before retiring at age 53. She began her Toastmasters journey at Abbott in 1989 and rejoined the organization in 2013.
Luisa placed second in Toastmasters’ international speech competition in 2019. In 2024, she reached the pinnacle of competitive public speaking by becoming the Toastmasters World Champion of Public Speaking.
Outside Toastmasters, Luisa is passionate about rescuing and transporting homeless dogs across the United States. She has fostered more than 1,100 dogs, finding joy in saving animals, inspiring others through her speeches, and making friends along the way.## What to Expect
