About the Session:
Unwind, create, and explore your inner creativity with NeuroArt! This therapeutic art class uses simple mixed-media exercises and structured drawing to help you relax while embracing the joy of making art. No prior drawing or painting experience is needed—Sandra will guide you step by step. You’ll learn the basics of neurographic art, including line and shape creation, and leave with:

- Artists are welcome to use any medium, traditional or digital (tablets/iPads encouraged!).
- Participants may work on existing pieces or start fresh.

What to Bring?:
- All materials needed for your preferred medium (pencils, charcoal, paper, sketchbook, tablet, etc.)
- Easel or drawing board if required

The Suwanee Arts Center is now accepting applications for our Pop Art x Anime Indoor Market, a special artist market taking place alongside our Pop Art x Anime Exhibition!
We are looking for artists and makers whose work is inspired by anime, comics, cartoons, manga, gaming culture, and pop art aesthetics. This exciting indoor market will celebrate bold colors, expressive styles, creativity, and fandom culture in a fun and welcoming environment.
Whether you create prints, paintings, stickers, ceramics, handmade goods, apparel, accessories, sculptures, or other original artwork inspired by these themes, we would love to see your work!

Each application must include:
• 3 images of your artwork
• 1 photo of you creating your work or in your studio
• Artist statement and biography
• Optional display booth photo
All submitted work must be original and created by the applying artist. Applications will be juried prior to acceptance.
Each accepted artist will receive:
• One 6 foot table
• Chairs provided by the Suwanee Arts Center
Artists may bring their own display materials as long as everything fits within the assigned space.

## Service Description

Join us for this 2-session watercolor workshop where we explore the balance between loose, expressive washes and thoughtful, detailed brushwork—all through the beauty of aquatic landscapes. Learn how to build atmosphere, capture depth, and create that magical sense of place using layered color, light, and texture. And, of course, enjoy dedicated time to paint, learn, and unwind

🌊Materials:

• All materials are provided, but you are free to
  bring your own if you wish!

🌊What will you learn?:

• Learn how to build atmosphere, capture depth, and create that magical sense of place using layered color, light, and texture. And, of course, enjoy dedicated time to paint, learn, and unwind. Watercolor’s translucent nature makes it ideal for creating soft skies, distant horizons, shimmering water, and the subtle shifts in light that define a landscape.

Each student will work on two watercolor sheets:
• One dedicated to your final landscape painting
• One for technique practice—skills you can use in all future artworks
