About us
Great movies, in great theaters, with great people. That’s the mission. A club filled with film-lovers (and film-likers) that meets every week to watch a movie in theaters! We’ll hang out before/after each showing to talk about movies, life, and just get to know each other. I schedule a good mixture of new and old releases, and try to balance genres. We also schedule events outside the theater like our popular ‘Outdoor Movie Nights’ at Tower Grove Park! This is a great way to meet new people and socialize!

Oscars Watch Party!
The Little Bevo, 4751 Morgan Ford Rd, St. Louis, MO, USOur second annual STL Film Club Awards/Oscars Watch party is fast approaching! Please sign up using the google sheet link above!
The fee will be $30 just like last year and will include:
- Food
- Tea, lemonade, sparkling water
- Entry into The Oscars Bet (You choose the winner for each Oscars category, and whoever gets the most correct, wins a prize).
The Little Bevo has a cash bar, which will include soda, beer, wine, and cocktails.
The ballot for our STL Film Club Awards will be sent out to you all by the end of February, once our Patreon members decide on the nominees. We will announce the awards during Oscars commercial breaks. If you'd like to join the presenter pool for those announcements, please check that box on the google sheet.

Project Hail Mary at Alamo!
Alamo Drafthouse, 3765 Foundry Way, STE 275, Saint Louis, MO, USI've heard great things about this novel and there's a lot of positive buzz for the film adaptation, so let's check it out! We're giving two showtime options for this one. There will still be our usual 1 hour hang in the Alamo lounge area before the 6pm showing.

Outdoor Party/Movie Night at Tower Grove Park!
Tower Grove Park - Sons of Rest Pavilion, Main Drive & South Drive, Saint Louis, MO, USI know you're all dreaming of warmer weather, so let's get our first Outdoor Movie Night of the year on the schedule! We’ll hang out with some food and drinks, play some yard games, and get to know each other. Once it gets dark, I’ll fire up the projector for a fun double feature!
There will be a $15 dollar fee to cover the pavilion rental, bathroom rental, movie screen permit, and provided food, that can be paid via Venmo to @blakeofstedal, or in cash when you arrive.

As per usual, I'll be grilling up brats and hot dogs on the BBQ pits, and will bring a bunch of different snacks. The drinks are BYOB. Feel free to bring food or drinks for the group if you’d like, but no pressure!
I’ll bring some yard games, but if you have a fun game that you’d like to bring, go ahead! You can also bring camp chairs if you want, but there will be plenty of picnic table space. I hope to see you all there!
(Note: I’m making the starting time 4pm to get our money’s worth for the pavilion rental, but the first movie will start around 5:00pm and the main event will start around 8ish. There will also be an afterparty, so show up whenever you can!)
