Space Coast Paddling Society

We will launch at 8:30 am sharp, from the sandy kayak launch next to the boat ramp. Pull up to the launch area, unload and then move vehicle to parking area.
There is plenty of parking at this location.
We will paddle out to the Marina, then north to explore the many
channels and mangrove islands of Vero Beach.

Come prepared with PFD, whistle, water, sunscreen & bug spray.

After our paddle all are welcome to gather for lunch at the Riverside Cafe

AND REMEMBER EARLY IS ON TIME.

We will be camping at the Juniper Springs Recreation area Campground. From Friday 3-27-26 at 2 pm to Tuesday 3-31-26 at 11 am. Everyone is responsible to reserve their own campsite and provide their own food and equipment. If you are not a camper there are Airbnb and motels in the area. I have reserved campsite FERN #68. Best if we are all near each other.
Plans are to Kayak Juniper Springs on Saturday, Silver Springs on Sunday, and the Ocklawaha river from Rays wayside to Gores Park (a 10 mile paddle) on Monday.
We will have nightly camp fire get togethers and Friday night everyone bring something to share for dinner. At campsite #68.
You are on your own for all other meals.

I have done this trip for many years with a small group. and it has always been a fun time. This is the first time I am inviting the meetup group and I look forward to seeing all that are able to attend.
