🌟Diverse TTRPG Play - From “open play” nights for one-shots, to short-term campaigns, to progressive leveling systems - we utilize various formats that cater to many preferences and schedules. Enjoy varied lengths, themed events, and unique homebrew stories.
🔀Varied Systems - We primarily run Dungeons & Dragons 5e due to the popular demand of the system, however we also can play and teach systems such as Pathfinder, Shadowdark, DCC, and more when there are interested groups.
🎨Miniature Painting & Propmaking - Many tabletop systems and game masters utilize various props, terrain, and miniature figures to enhance the gaming experience. Together we practice, learn, and improve in this related tabletop hobby.
🧩Tabletop Board Gaming - Also closely related to RPGs, there is plenty of cross-over in our community to the board gaming sphere. From the classics to the hottest modern titles, we organize events to play, learn, and explore board games.
🎓Learning & Teaching - We believe as a community our goal is to teach people how to join in on all the activities we love so much. You can participate as both a newbie or a mentor in classes, boot camps, or “cohort” campaigns to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Season 2 D&D Open Play

⚔️Welcome to the Southeast Michigan Tabletop Guild’s second season of D&D Open-Play!⚔️
This mini-campaign will tie together over the course of six months in one shared world across all our tables. While our DMs rotate every month, the places/people/story will remain consistent in every session and parties will have an impact on this larger connected world. Each time you join us you’ll earn rewards that continue with your character, contribute to an ongoing shared narrative, and make progress in an ever-evolving mission!
🌟 This event is "open play" - where anyone is welcome to reserve a seat at the tables with no experience or previous attendance necessary. This is a great opportunity for both new or returning players to join forces with veterans and get first-hand experience, friendly tips, and helpful explanations.
🎲 You do not need any supplies to play, as our wonderful DMs and regular players can share premade character sheets, supplies, dice, and miniatures if needed. But you're more than welcome to bring all of your own loot or purchase some on location if you so desire!

🔥 Old-School Essentials Classic Fantasy is a clean, modern presentation of the classic 1980s Basic/Expert (B/X) style of fantasy adventure—simple, robust rules that keep play moving and spotlight imagination, improvisation, and fun.
Each session is episodic or part of a short 2–3 session arc.
What you can expect:
