About us
The Social Shift MKE is a community for Milwaukee-area adults 30+ who want genuine connection and a social life that doesn’t revolve around alcohol.
No label or rock-bottom story is required. You may be alcohol-free, sober, sober curious, moderating, taking a break, or simply interested in meeting people without drinking. However you describe yourself, you are welcome here.
This is not a recovery program or a dating group. It is a social community centered on friendship, connection, and new experiences. Events may include coffee and brunch meetups, walks and hikes, game nights, creative workshops, local outings, and more.
Some venues may serve alcohol, but members agree to remain alcohol and substance-free while attending our events.
Friendships and romantic connections may naturally develop, but unwanted advances, harassment, and behavior that makes other members uncomfortable will not be tolerated. Respect for other members and their boundaries is expected at every event.
Come as you are, meet new people, and help us create a different kind of social life in Milwaukee.

We’ll walk through the Deer District Farmer’s Market, browse the vendors, grab something to eat, and get to know one another.
The market is open from 10:00am–2:00pm, so you’re welcome to stay and continue exploring after our meetup ends.
MEETING POINT
Meet at the Bucks logo monument at the northeast corner of Fiserv
Forum. We’ll wait at the monument until approximately 10:40 before
heading into the market together.PARKING
Free parking is available in the Highland Parking Structure for up to three
hours.
To redeem the free parking:- Scan the QR code in the garage or at a Deer District establishment.
- Enter your license plate number and cell phone number.
- Confirm your license plate.
- Select the “Deer District Customer Parking” rate.
