What we’re about
This group was started to create a great community in the Bucks and Berks areas. Attending our events is a great way to make new sociable friends and to maybe even meet that someone special along the way if you're currently single. The socials are open to everyone and you don't need to be single to join. However, we do only want people who are single for the dating events.
You will also see events listed on our Meet Up by Toyin from Get a Social Life who puts up some interesting events also not within the area such as holidays abroad, weekend breaks and some classy events in London.

SAT FEB 7 BIG PRE VALENTINES SINGLES PARTY MAX 200 for 30+ in Marlow
We feel this magnificent venue will only be suited to a big event with Max 200 and DJ John Johnny for the best atmosphere.
Feb 7th gives you time to meet someone to go on a date for Valentines Feb 14th.
SOLD OUT FOR LADIES for the Dining Speed Datining 6.30pm but can take ladies for the party only from 8.30pm until Midnight.
NEED MEN TO BALANCE FOR THE WHOLE EVENT.
We will again hold the dining speed dating at 6.30pm with a different menu but on 6 tables of 8 so not so tiring. The men will move every 15 minutes and the ladies can move half way around the tables this time if they wish to be able to chat to the men on the other side of the table.
Tickets are £34.50 direct transfer for the whole event (this includes the hire fee cost also built into the ticket price). 6.30pm arrival.

The menu for the sharing platters coming to the tables for the 6.30pm bookings is:
-chicken satay skewers with satay sauce on the side
-vegetable skewers with pitta bread & houmous
- samosas & onion bhajis with mint sauce & sweet chilli jam
-fruit platter
- mini cakes
We are asking for smart dress code so no jeans, t shirts, jumpers or trainers. We won't be insisting on men wearing suits for this one but hopefully you understand what we mean by smart guys.

A Bit About Harleyford Golf Club in Marlow
Beautifully crafted in a natural downland setting, the 6,903 yard par 72 course is both challenging and rewarding to players of all levels. It has had a multi-million pound makeover and is still the number one inclusive golf course in the area. Visitors are most welcome and they have membership packages to suit all your golfing needs.
The history of the estate dates back to the 12th century and is designated as “an area of outstanding beauty”. The clubhouse has been developed on a theme from the Victorian farm buildings and provides stunning facilities for many social occasions.

Dining Speed Dating 30 - 55 at The Beech House in Amersham Sat Dec 6th
The Beech House, 16 Hill Ave, Amersham HP6 5BW, amersham, GBSOLD OUT BOTH SEXES
Dining Speed Dating on Tables of 6 where everyone can speak to each other on the tables. There will be 8 tables of 6 for this event.
SATDEC 6th at The Beech House is for 30 - 55 age range.

Speed dating means you get to speak to everyone attending and combined with eating together in a group of six on the table makes the whole experience a lot more relaxed.
When you book for this event we will need you to text full name, year of birth plus area you live to
Julie on 07948 417416 as need to confirm details for the event.
We have 1 sharing platter and two large pizzas on each table.
We will ask the men to move tables every 15 minutes. The whole dating experience will take 2.5 hours maximum as we ask you to arrive at 7pm to sit down at 7.30pm. Please do not book if you are not confident you can arrive by 7pm.
We will have places saying man, woman, man, woman so when the first 3 ladies and 3 men arrive within one of the age ranges we can ask you to sit once you have purchased your drink at the bar and visited the rest rooms. There won't be any standing around as we have only the one age range on this event.
There also won't be any whistle blowing. We will ask the three men on each table of six to move to the next numbered table when we reach 15 minutes. This means there will be 7 moves after sitting to have sat on all 8 tables. The men take their plate with them as it is the same food on every table.
At 9.30pm when the dating/dining has finished you can all carry on socialising at the bar.
This is a good time to get back together with anyone you liked in particular and exchange numbers or if you found it hard to chat to the other man/woman across the tables who wasn't sitting beside you. You can also pass messages via us after the event if you can remember the first name and area the person lives. Just make out a text saying something to remind them who you are and add your name and your mobile at the end of the message and I can forward this on for you if you can remember the first name and area the person lives might help.
