What we’re about
We're a diverse community of people coming together to cultivate friendship through shared time and effort. We do things such as:
- casual weeknight get-togethers
- board game nights
- museum trips
- book clubs
- holiday celebrations (vappu, juhannus, new year's eve, etc.)
- cabin trips and hiking
- themed discussion groups
- summer picnics
- and more...
If it's your first time joining in, remember to bring a healthy sense of humor and feel free to jump in on the conversation any time.
What does Sincha mean?
Šincha (新茶) is a type of fine Japanese green tea, made from the first harvest of the season. While you're not likely to find it in a Finnish market, we hope to reflect the same type of calm, relaxed vibes in our events as a bowl of fine green tea on a Summer day.
Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Introverts' Picnic @ Lapinlahden puistoLapinlahden lähde, Helsinki
Sincha's merry gang of introverts is going to picnic! If you've never been to one of our events before, here's what to expect:
- Hearty sense of humor is at the core of what we do
- Thoughtful conversation over small talk
- Quirks and differences are celebrated, not shunned
Weather permitting, we'll gather outside to enjoy drinks and snacks in the seaside park next to Lapinlahden lähde. If you feel brave enough for a swim, there's a tiny beach right next to our spot. In case of rain, we'll move indoors to one of the cafés in the area.
To keep things relaxed, feel free to:
- Come and go as you please
- Listen quietly or just jump into the conversation
- Message me here if you're eager to skip the wailist, or check out our other events to meet the gang
Hope to see you there!
NOTE: Please keep your RSVP updated. To make sure that everyone gets a chance to participate, if you can't make it, please update your RSVP to not attending at least a couple of hours before the event. Otherwise, I'll write a disgruntled letter to Santa Claus and you'll end up on the naughty list for Christmas!
