Are you trying to find some uninterrupted time to focus on your book? Would you like to meet fellow readers from across the five boroughs? Welcome to Silent Book Club NYC!
We don’t assign reading for our meetups. Just bring a book, whether it’s something you’re currently enjoying or that book you’ve been meaning to get around to forever. Paper, e-book, or audio — they’re all welcome. We’ll share the books we brought (we’re always on the lookout for our next great read) and then settle in to read silently together.

Melting Cups, 4345 40th Street, Queens County, NY, USThe bookworms are back at Melting Cups for the Fall. Join us on Saturday morning (10 am) at Melting Cups Café
Arrive, grab a drink ☕️, pastry 🥐 or both, and settle in the art gallery area (back) where the comfy couches are. Around 10:15 a.m., we’ll have casual introductions sharing what books we are reading. 📖🤓
We’ll wrap up by noon when the café gets busier.
We'll try to keep this a recurring event through the Fall. If you want to host or co-host let us know!

Uptown Reading Morning (Inwood)
Buunni Coffee - Inwood, 4961 Broadway, New York, NY, US🌟 Registration will open on October 16 🌟
Join us at Buunni Coffee in Inwood to read, relax, and sip some delicious coffee (or tea) on Sunday morning! We'll spend half an hour settling in, ordering drinks, and doing introductions, and then read from 11:30 to 12:30.
Because Buunni Coffee is generously hosting us free of charge, I encourage everyone to purchase a drink or pastry to enjoy while you read.

Bring a book or choose one of the many titles at the main branch of the library. We’ll socialize and read in the Info Commons Training Lab which seats 50 people available on a first-come basis.
