Are you a fan of Halloween and horror movies?
Are you someone who is fascinated with the supernatural, spiritual, and paranormal?
Are you someone who absolutely hates all things scary?
Whichever side of the horror fence you find yourself on, this group is for you! All are welcome, no matter the level of horror fandom or metaphysical curiosity.
Shivers is a business founded on just that - what gives us shivers? Our events are described as "all things spooky", where horror, paranormal, and intuition collide. Shivers creates immersive horror-inspired experiences that blend mystery & macabre, inviting guests to explore the strange & unusual and face their own fears.
Each month of 2026 has its own theme with recurring events each month in those different themes. These recurring events include Virtual Movie Nights, Murder Mystery Parties, Tarot Readings, Reiki Sessions, and Game Nights.
Events are posted one month at a time with a variety of others offered, including paid and unpaid. Payment and locations are listed in event descriptions. There are no refunds provided 24 hours prior to paid events. In the case of an emergency, you can use your ticket credit towards another event. Locations vary along the east coast but focus online and in Raleigh.

Murder Mystery Show Format - The Witch
Fair Game Beverage Company, 192 Lorax Lane (bldg. 192 of The Plant campus), Pittsboro, NC, USPartnering with Fair Game Beverage, Shivers presents an immersive Murder Mystery designed for both active participants and curious onlookers. The theme is a revamp of the Murder at the Cabin, now called The Witch. A remote cabin and treasure hunt that should have been a game. When a group of friends follows a mysterious map into the woods, strange warnings, vanishing companions, and a deadly secret begin to unfold. Will you uncover the truth or become part of the legend?
First paid, first choice of characters. All receive:
- Scripted moments and private details
- Objectives, secrets, and motivations
- Integration into the unfolding mystery
- You are part of the show - alliances, accusations, and dramatic reveals included.
- A full character list
- A personal notebook to track clues and motives
An intermission will allow everyone time to purchase additional drinks, take photos, and mingle and compare theories
Whether you choose to take center stage or sit among the crowd, the question remains:
