What we’re about
Welcome to the Seattle Millennials and Gen Z Meetup group! We’re an active, inclusive community :)
If you’re on Meetup, you’re probably hoping to make friends. That’s great! You should fit right in! We’d love to meet you. Our main activity is our weekly happy hour where we grab drinks at a bar and chat. This can sometimes involve karaoke, boardgames, or minigolf. Currently, our weekly happy hour alternates between being on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week. We often have meetups on weekends as well. Our weekend activities have included hikes, kayaking, beach bonfires, festivals, wine tasting, and fruit picking. In addition to our official weekend meetups, many members will get together without an official meetup. For best results, show up to our weekly happy hour meetup and ask people about their plans for the weekend!
If you read our meetup’s name carefully, you’ll notice that our community is NOT strictly reserved for SINGLES!
That being said, if you ARE single, we ask that your primary motive at activities is to build new, lasting friendships. Members who are pushy or clingy or don’t give other members space will be asked to stop, then asked to leave. And it should go without saying that harassment (of any form) will not be tolerated.
We hope to see you soon!

A Magical Snoqualmie Holiday Adventure
Step into a winter wonderland just 45 minutes from Seattle with a day trip that feels straight out of a storybook. Begin your journey aboard the Santa Limited, a festive train ride through the scenic Snoqualmie Valley. As the vintage railcar chugs along, twinkling lights and holiday music set the mood while Santa himself greets passengers with cheer. Cozy up with hot cocoa and watch the misty forests and snow-dusted peaks glide past your window—it’s pure holiday magic on rails.
After your ride, wander into the Snoqualmie Museum, where history comes alive among gleaming locomotives and interactive exhibits. Explore the heritage of the region’s railroads, snap photos with antique engines, and soak in the nostalgic charm that makes this stop a hidden gem for train lovers and curious minds alike.
Cap off the day with a short drive to the iconic Snoqualmie Falls, where nature puts on its own dazzling show. The 268-foot waterfall thunders into the gorge below, framed by evergreens and mist that sparkles in the crisp winter air. Whether you’re standing at the overlook or strolling the nearby trails, the view is breathtaking—especially in the golden glow of late afternoon.
This itinerary blends festive fun, rich history, and awe-inspiring scenery into one unforgettable day. Perfect for couples, families, or anyone craving a dose of holiday spirit and Pacific Northwest beauty.

✨ A Christmas Day Trip to Vancouver: A Journey Through Holiday Magic
The day begins at 8:00 AM as you leave Lynnwood Transit Center under a pale winter sky, the crisp air tingling on your cheeks. The hum of the road is softened by the scent of fresh coffee and buttery pastries from a cozy café along the way—warmth in your hands, anticipation in your heart.
By 11:30 AM, you step into Potter’s Christmas Store, where the air is perfumed with pine and cinnamon. Glittering ornaments catch the light like tiny jewels, and every corner whispers nostalgia. At 12:30 PM, the Christmas Tree Festival at the Museums of Surrey greets you with a kaleidoscope of creativity—each tree a story, shimmering under soft carols that float through the halls.
Lunch at 1:15 PM is a comforting pause: steaming bowls, hearty flavors, laughter shared over rustic tables. Then, at 2:00 PM, Glenda’s Christmas Cottage wraps you in old-world charm—wooden shelves lined with delicate figurines, the faint crackle of a fireplace, and the scent of spiced tea lingering in the air.
By 3:00 PM, you wander into Martini Town, a film set reborn as a holiday village. Cobblestone streets glisten under faux snow, lampposts twinkle like stars, and the sound of distant sleigh bells mingles with cheerful chatter. It feels like stepping inside a Christmas movie.
As dusk deepens, Glow Langley at 5:00 PM dazzles your senses: tunnels of radiant lights arch overhead, synchronized music pulses through the crisp night, and children’s laughter sparkles like the LEDs around you. Then, at 7:00 PM, the grand finale—Bright Nights in Stanley Park. Here, millions of lights drape towering evergreens, casting a golden glow over the forest paths. The air is cool, fragrant with cedar, and alive with the magic of tradition.
On the way home, a hearty dinner warms your soul as the day’s memories shimmer like ornaments in your mind—a perfect Christmas symphony of sights, scents, and joy.
