Seattle Beginner Pickleball

Join us Sunday mornings from 9:00am to 12:00pm for FREE pickleball, coffee, and donuts with the Green Lake community.

Whether you're brand new to pickleball or already a regular at Green Lake, this is a friendly, low-pressure way to meet new people and enjoy the game together over breakfast.

At Beginner Pickleball Social, everyone plays together. Beginners, intermediate players, and Green Lake regulars all join the same paddle queue. It's easy to meet experienced players, make new friends, and join one of Seattle's most active pickleball communities.

What to expect:

• Free coffee ☕ and donuts 🍩! (while supplies last)
• Friendly, social pickleball.
• Meet new people from the Green Lake community.
• No experience or partner required.
• Loaner paddles available.

Everyone is welcome. Wear comfortable shoes and athletic clothing. Bring water and sunscreen. Pickleball Ambassadors are available to teach basic rules, scoring, and court etiquette.

🗓️ Join us Sundays at 9:00am. We'll use Green Lake's open-play system, with all eight pickleball courts in one paddle queue.

This week only on Tuesday due to holidays!!! Wanna get some practice in? Wake up! Early birds, please join us at Green Lake to play beginner & intermediate pickleball!

This is a super relaxed, standing open play (no instruction provided) at Green Lake. Arrive anytime between 7:00am and 9:00am. Look for people with name tags and rain cancels.

If Nicey is hosting on a weekdays she is there typically 7-8:15am (has to head to work!). Players stagger in over the two hours. Please bring your own paddle and balls for am play.

Want a relaxed vibe and lots of playtime? Prior to 8am courts are usually not busy. Stop by for a quick game if you can! 💪🏓

Green Lake Pickleball is hosting FREE Beginner Welcome Courts. Every Tuesday from 5:00pm to 8:30pm, and every Thursday from 11:00am to 2:00pm, courts at Green Lake are dedicated for beginner and intermediate players to learn and play in a friendly, low-pressure environment.

• No experience needed.
• Drop in by yourself, or with friends.
• Wear comfortable shoes and athletic clothing. Bring water and sunscreen.
• Everyone is welcome.

Pickleball Ambassadors are available to teach basic rules, scoring, and court etiquette.
