The mission of the Santa Barbara Ski and Sports Club is to bring local residents together to enjoy the many year-round social and physically challenging events and trips in a positive environment. This non-profit club began as a skiing club only in 1955 but has evolved to a full summer and winter sports club with a very diverse schedule of ski, social and sports events.

Kayaking or Stand-up Paddle Boarding from 9:30-10:30AM. Meet at the SB Sailing Center in the SB Harbor, or on the water near the boat ramp.Be sure to make your reservation online at sbsail.com if you need to rent a paddle board or kayak!

Description: Come take our 14-mile tour over portions of four different “named” bike routes and popular roads covering Goleta to western Santa Barbara. At the 10-mile point, we’ll stop for brunch at Cody’s Cafe. Cody’s is located at the southwest corner of the Turnpike Shopping Center, and the Center is located at the corner of Turnpike and Hollister Ave.

The Route follows portions of these named bike routes:
Coastal Route, Maria Ignacio Route, Foothill Route, North Goleta Route.
After brunch, return to Goleta Beach via Puente Dr and the Coastal Route.Bring water, wear a helmet and bicycle safely. We’ll have brunch at Cody’s Cafe, where you can choose to buy some food and beverage. If cycling is not for you, skip the ride and just meet the club at Cody’s. Contact the trip leader/organizer, Robert Ernst, to get an estimated brunch time. Join ski club friends and make some new ones.

Meet at 9:00 am, Goleta Beach parking lot, on the west side of the park entrance - see lot map on the Ski Club website (SBSki.org) Event Calendar. Return to the cars by 1:00 pm.
