Lovely easy walk thru Liberty Station around the water and turning around at USS Recruit. About 2 miles, flat terrain, moderate distractions.

We have grown an amazing and supportive community. To keep everyone safe and promote a calm environment, by attending our walks you are expected to follow & respect our rules:

1. All dogs must remain on leash at all times, handlers must maintain a 3 foot lead. NO retractable or bungee leashes permitted.
2. NO greeting dogs inside or outside our pack until the walk is over, with permission. Please always keep dogs on leash. We know some dogs are friends, but use this time to practice following structured socialization.
3. Maintain at least a 6 foot distance to prevent nose-to-nose/tail interactions. If your dog is a beginner or reactive, we recommend taking more space if needed, by walking at the back of the pack.
4. Come prepared and advocate for your dog. Bring adequate water, poop bags, treats, etc. Monitor your dog and always do what’s best for them. If your dog is slowing down, consider stopping early. If your dog is panting, request a break to give them some water.

Our Community Pack Leaders will be leading the walk and can answer any questions that come up. We are looking forward to meeting you and your pup!

Join us for a fun informative Canine Fitness workshop! Malory, a Certified Fitness Trainer and Owner of The Perceptive Pooch will be leading a session to demonstrate easy exercises to keep your pup healthy and fit.

After class, all attendees will receive swag bags and we will hang out for some decompression time, Q&A with Malory and Real Dog Box treats and chews available for purchase.

All levels and dogs welcome! 1 dog per person please.
Space is limited—confirm your spot by sending in the $40 class fee via Venmo @realdogluke, Zelle 858-688-0300 or Apple Pay. Please note your name and your dog’s name with the payment. This payment is non refundable, however if you can’t attend, you’re welcome to send a substitute in your place.

All regular rules from our Pack Walks apply- stay on leash, no retractable leashes, keep space and only greet with permission please.

Join us as we weave our way through UTC so your pups can sniff thousands of different sniffs with their sniffers! This is a short trail with fantastic distractions. We recommend parking in the Sunset Garage.

This is a varsity-level walk for easily distracted/reactive dogs, but with patience and practice, we can do it! We’ll be walking by all kinds of stores and scents if you want to practice being able to take your pup through crowded areas like a shopping mall.
We’ll meet BEHIND the little dog park on the lawn (northern part of Montrose Park, 32.869996043593446, -117.21039800018664) so we can give our pups a chance to go potty before we begin (trying to minimize potty breaks while we walk through the mall). Parking is free for the first 2 hours, so we will be sure to finish well ahead of that.

Park as close as you can to the UTC Mall dog park. The Sunset Garage or parking near Macy’s (southern lot will get you pretty close), as will the lot right next to the ice rink.
