San Diego Dog Meetup - #PackWalk

Join us for indoor, air conditioned distraction training at the mall in Carlsbad (formerly Westfield). This is a short, flat indoor walk perfect for beginners, senior dogs or just some fun social time while window shopping! We recommend parking in front of 24 hour Fitness.

We’ll be walking by all kinds of stores and scents, perfect practice to be able to take your pup through crowded areas like a shopping mall. Option to hang out, get food and some patio practice after!

Early arrival is encouraged to hit some early bathroom breaks if possible to avoid poop cleanup at the mall.

We have grown an amazing and supportive community. To keep everyone safe and promote a calm environment, by attending our walks you are expected to follow & respect our rules:

• All dogs must remain on leash at all times, handlers must maintain a 3 foot lead. NO retractable or bungee leashes permitted.

• NO greeting dogs inside or outside our pack until the walk is over, with permission. Please always keep dogs on leash. We know some dogs are friends, but use this time to practice following structured socialization.

• Maintain at least a 6 foot distance to prevent nose-to-nose/tail interactions. If your dog is a beginner or reactive, we recommend taking more space if needed, by walking at the back of the pack.

• Come prepared and advocate for your dog. Bring adequate water, poop bags, treats, etc. Monitor your dog and always do what’s best for them. If your dog is slowing down, consider stopping early. If your dog is panting, request a break to give them some water.

Our Community Pack Leaders will be leading the walk and can answer any questions that come up. We are looking forward to meeting you and your pup!

Join us for a special Halloween pack walk at Lake Murray! We’re teaming up with Lionel’s Legacy Dog Rescue and one of our newest retail partners, Paw Country in La Mesa.

Dogs of all ages and levels are welcome! This is a flat easy walk on a paved path. Halloween costumes are encouraged if comfortable for your dog to walk in.

Lake Murray, Kiowa Drive entrance

Park in the lot off Kiowa Drive and meet us at the yellow gates. Please arrive a few minutes early so we can get everyone checked in and ready to walk together.

Join us to walk by the waterfront of San Diego Bay. We'll start off at the Star of India and walk to Seaport and back. It takes about an hour, depending on pack size. Arrive early to find parking and to establish calm energy with your dog. This location is perfect for distraction training including tourists, runners and bikers.
