San Diego NORTH COUNTY Cyber Meetup (September 2026)
The Lost Abbey, 1347 Keystone Way Suite C, Vista, CA, USThis is a satellite meetup in North County.
We'll meet outside (if the weather is clear).
We traditionally hold a salon-style discussion and we're going to do it again this time. But this time we're providing a little preparation by introducing "Podcast Club." Listen to a podcast episode and be prepared to discuss.
For this meetup, please listen to the Defense in Depth episode entitled "Cybersecurity Has Become a Cult." It questions whether we're following the dogma of frameworks and certain requirements, or are we really questioning why we're taking the actions we're taking.
If you live in North County San Diego and you work in cyber, and you want to hang with like-minded professionals, this event is for you. Let's get together for a beer and conversation. There will be a food truck outside as well.
DO NOT CONFUSE this event with our regular event in Mission Valley.
