What we’re about
For people born between 1975 and 2004. Events are located in St Pete.
I’d like to do a fairly even balance of male and female authors, and I’m open to adding classic philosophical works and other nonfiction, depending on interest.
I’ll stick to longish short stories and shortish novels. I would love to do War and Peace and other enormous books, but I think it’s too much to ask for a book club where a lot of us are in the middle of a career, raising families, etc.
I plan to set up dues at $10/year, and donate 20% to SAFE Tampa Bay, a great local anti-sex-trafficking network.
Quick note: I had initially set this up as a women’s-only group and then changed my mind. My apologies to any men who tried to sign up and got the new member question that asked “are you female?” I’ve fixed the question now, and plan for this to be a mixed-sex group.
