Rockville Stitch and Bitch

What started as just one person cross stitching at a coffee shop searching for community, has grown into a vibrant community of makers from all walks of life. While our backgrounds, experiences, and stories may be different, we’re all connected by one common thread (yes, we love a good pun): a shared passion for fiber arts.

Our mission is to foster an inclusive, welcoming, and supportive space where everyone feels they belong—regardless of experience level, craft, identity, age, or background. Whether you’re just starting to dabble for the first time, knitting your first hat, crocheting your hundredth blanket, quilting, embroidering, or exploring any other fiber art, there’s a seat for you here.

We believe fiber arts are about more than the finished project. They’re about building friendships, sharing knowledge, celebrating one another’s successes, offering support through life’s challenges, and creating a sense of community one stitch at a time.
