The historic Rockingham Ballroom has the area’s largest and only floating wood floor built spe cifically for dancing. Our events host some of the biggest names of big bands, dating from 1934. 8500 sf with a 4000 sf dance floor. Café style seating. Featured monthly events live big band and swing sound with free lessons, Stand up comedy, tribute bands, line dancing with lesson featured DJ dancing with monthly themes We also are available to rent for parties, classes, meetings.

The Innocents are a band of seasoned musicians with deep roots in the local music scene, with no gimmicks, no trends, just raw, honest country. With a setlist packed full of outlaw legends like Hank Williams, Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, and Johnny Cash, they bring a gritty, heartfelt sound that honors tradition while keeping the dance floor alive.

Kick off the night with 603 Line Dance’s fun, easy to follow lessons that get everyone moving, no experience or partner required. You’ll be ready to hit the floor with confidence before the band takes the stage!

You can bring your beverage of choice (BYOB) and we provide a healthy light menu to snack on, for purchase. Seltzers, sodas and mixers also available. (No “bar” tab.) We have both cafe and lounge seating, and a game room. All ages and abilities are welcome!

The Rockingham Ballroom is turning 91, and we’re marking the occasion with the return of crowd favorite Bedford Big Band. This powerhouse 15-piece ensemble brings the magic of swing, pop, funk, and Latin classics to life with soaring vocals, a blazing horn section, and a rhythm that keeps the floor moving all night.
Kick off the evening with free beginner East Coast Swing lessons from the Krystal Ballroom Dance Studio of Hampton Falls, then dance the night away to timeless hits from Count Basie, Duke Ellington, and beyond. Whether you’re stepping out for the first time or soaking in the lush harmonies, it’s a celebration of music, memories, and movement you won’t forget.
