Meeting new people is a challenge and do you ever find yourself having more than enough things to do but no one to do it with. Expect an eclectic mix of activities ranging from happy hours to movies, plays or concerts, live music, dancing, and outdoorsy stuff like kayaking or bicycling and more (whatever randomly pops in our heads or you suggest). Expect food of some sort before, after or during many events.
This group is for people who don't take themselves too seriously and want to meet others in small groups.
If you want to be an event host so you may post an outing just let us know. The cool thing about hosting is you pick, the what, where and when of things that you want to do!
Please invite others to join our group to help it be vibrant.

Don't send instant messages through meetup to folks you haven't met. Propositions to meet outside of meetup events to a virtual stranger is creepy. Of course a relevant message to an event host regarding an upcoming meetup is different.

Players there are plenty of other sites if you just want to hook up one on one, don't make folks feel unsafe here. If you have done a meetup with someone and want to send them a good to see/meet you followup to me that is totally different, but if they do not reply or aren't interested don't be a "meetup creep". Of course it's great if folks "meetup" and some magic develops. So please remember while it is fun to "meetup", this group is not "hookup.com" or "match.com". Not everyone here is single or seeking a romance.
Remember if you receive an unsolicited message or suspicious or inappropriate behavior, please report it to Paul S, it is grounds for immediate dismissal of violating party. They probably are spamming others here and in other groups. We will ban them.

NYE 2025 with ACT3 at WW Largo. Last NYE was SO. MUCH. FUN.
Posting early for those of us who like to plan ahead.
If you came last NYE then you already know, we gonna have a blast!!!!!
This venue recently changed its seating to first come, first serve. Hopefully they do reservations for New Year’s Eve. Check back for details and updates.
Last year the cover charge was $10. That gave you champagne at midnight and a streamer and NYE hat. Again, let’s hope it’s the same. We can’t beat this deal!!!!!
For our first-time Act3 attendees, the band plays Motown, R&B, MJ, Prince, Robin Thick, Bobby Brown, Blackstreet, Backstreet Boys, Mary J and much, much more.

Have Gun, Will Travel at The Ale and The Witch
The Ale And The Witch, 111 22nd Ave Ne, St Petersburg, FL, USLet's get together at The Ale and the Witch and hear my favorite local Band Have Gun, Will Travel play some of their songs. Having previously released six albums and a new EP, they have a lot of material to choose from. They might even throw in a random cover by Tom Petty or Cheap Trick.
Revered Tampa Bay area Americana scene staple Have Gun, Will Travel is going the distance—or at least into it—with the release of a new EP.
After some journeys into a more rock sound, Voyager Golden’s lead single finds the band returning to a more rootsy aesthetic complete with stripped-back, harmonized vocals that help launch a concept record about interstellar space exploration and NASA’s late-’70s satellites.
Tampa Bay Indie-Americana darlings Have Gun, Will Travel are once again inspired by the subject of human exploration. A decade ago, with 'Science from an Easy Chair,' their critically acclaimed concept album based on explorer Ernest Shackleton’s ill-fated 1914 Antarctic Expedition. And now, with their forthcoming ‘Voyager Golden EP,' a 6-song rock n' roll odyssey with a running theme that centers on NASA's Voyager program and interstellar space exploration.

It is a Beautiful Day - Gulfport to St. Pete Bike Ride
Gulfport Casino, 5500 Shore Boulevard South, Gulfport, FL, USSeveral meetup groups are attending this event.
This will be a very casual social ride where we all stick together. About 12 miles total at about 10-12 mph. We will be making several stops. An excellent opportunity to dust off and ride your junker bike. We will be riding with novice riders from other groups.
We are going to start at the Casino at Gulfport. We will ride to the end of the St. Petersburg Pier.
On the way back we will stop at Beech Kombucha for some fermented tea or some apple cider beer. Beech Kombucha is a great place to hang out, and we will spend about 40 minutes there.

Make sure that your bike tires are full of air and that your bike is in good order. This is a fun casual biking event with lots of stops with opportunities to interact with other people.
A BIKE HELMET is REQUIRED.
