About us
The Great Raleigh Cleanup is a group for people who want to rid the Raleigh area of its litter problem. It’s for those who’ve seen the problem, decided not to blame anyone but instead to do something about it. We meet 3-4 times a mont, most often on Saturdays or Sundays. Our aim is to leave the area 100x better than we found it! Sometimes that means climbing into ditches and streams but safety is always our #1 priority. All cleanups take place within Raleigh unless otherwise clearly noted! Signup even if there is a waitlist. People change their minds all the time.
Quarterly we will have a 'Kid-Friendly' cleanup. These occur on Raleigh greenways and will be clearly noted in the event title. Bring the kiddos out to these.
We also have a program called Adopt the Block. It's perfect for those that are unable to make it out to the group cleanups. We can even hold a cleanup for you and your coworkers. Email with any questions.

Kiddos Kleanup (make up day)

Join us for our make-up Kiddos Kleanup. All ages are welcome. The event will take place on a greenway or park. An area safe for the little ones.
But don't worry big kids, i am sure there will be big litter near by so everyone come out.
This one is weather dependent so keep an eye out for updates.
We are starting a little earlier on this one because Atti has to get to swim class by 10:30.
If you're new to the team, do me 2 favors: fill out this waiver and bring me a bag of empty aluminum cans.

International Woman's Day Cleanup with Hartwell Raleigh

It's International Woman's Day and we are celebrating just like we did in 2023. With a *Ladies Only* service event. And this time we are partnering with Caitlin, owner of Hartwell Raleigh.
And in addition to cleaning up, we will be holding a supply drive for Interact of Wake. Bring toilet paper, paper towel or any hygiene products for the ladies being supported by Interact.
As usual, all supplies provided, we just need you.
