I started this group over 10 years ago for a simple reason: I was tired of the "dating app" grind and wanted a way to meet active people in Pittsburgh while actually doing something fun. Fast forward to today, and while my own life has changed, the mission of this group hasn't. We are here to bridge the gap between digital profiles and real-world chemistry through movement, sports, and social energy.

What We Are (And What We Aren’t)

This isn't a "meat market" or a place to "scope out" dates from your couch. We are a community of people who actually want to show up and play.

• We Are: A high-energy social club. We play hard, we’re competitive, and we value organic connections that happen while you’re focused on a game.
• We Aren’t: A place for "creepers" or awkward outreach. If you’re joining just to message members you haven't met in person, you’ll be removed. We protect the "low-pressure" vibe of our events fiercely.

The "Active" Requirement

Most of our events are physically demanding. We specialize in unique, invented team sports (like Yoga Ball Soccer and Luau-Ball) in addition to some crowd favorites like kickball and ultimate frisbee that require movement and a bit of a competitive spirit. While we don't have a strict age cutoff, our activities typically attract those in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who are looking for an intense workout and a high-speed social environment. If you’re ready to learn new rules and play with intensity, you’re in the right place.

A Note on Membership & Respect

I personally cover the rising costs of the Meetup Organizer fees because I believe in keeping these events free and accessible for you. In return, I have two "Golden Rules":

1. A Real Photo is Required: To keep our community recognizable and safe, you must have a clear profile photo of yourself to be approved.
2. Respect the RSVP: If you take a spot, show up. I put a lot of work into organizing these games; please don't let a "no-show" ruin the team balance.
