About us
Looking to enjoy the vibrant arts and social scene in Perth? Join our Meetup group for dining out, wine tastings, movie nights, gallery visits, cultural activities, and more. Whether you're a film lover, bookworm, art enthusiast, or simply looking to meet like-minded individuals, our group offers something for everyone. From exploring the fine arts at galleries to indulging in dinner, theatres and tea socials, we have a variety of events to suit your interests. Join us for a mix of day and night outings that celebrate culture, ethnicity, and the arts in Perth.
If you RSVP 'going' and are unable to attend, please update your RSVP and send a message to the host to let them know that your plans have changed and you will be unable to attend. Please don't RSVP 'going' and then not show up; it's not fair to the host and the group. No shows will result in removal from the group.
Please feel free to suggest events for the group. I'm keen on low-cost or free events to maximise participation, as there's a cost-of-living crisis.
You can contact me through the chat box.

Lunch and Meetup @ Coventry Market
Coventry Pavilion, 243-253 Walter Road West, Shop2, Morley, AUHello everyone,
I thought I would add some food events to the schedule.
Please join me for lunch and a walk around Coventry Market in Morley.
Coventry's is a unique experience, with a range of international food shops, ethnic grocery stores, a Spudshed, MCQ supermarkets, and a range of other services.
I love coming here for my Chinese food, where the food tastes just like China.
We will meet, then have a walk around and decide where we want to eat, then we can have a browse of some of the market stalls and do some shopping if you feel inclined.
Bring $20-$30 max dollars for lunch, and extra if you wish to do some shopping. Be prepared to try food from different cultures; it's mostly an Asian place. They have Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and Thai options and more.
Check the link to the dining options.
https://coventryvillage.com.au/dining/Let's meet at 12 noon, outside Spudshed.
Don't be late, please, and always keep your RSVP up-to-date.

Book Club & Brunch - September - The Uncool by Cameron Crowe
Stompcoffee Cafe, 39 Angove Street, North Perth 6006, Western Australia, AUHi,
In September, we will meet to discuss the recently released memoir The Uncool by Cameron Crowe.
Cameron Crowe was a rock 'n' roll journalist whose experiences inspired the Oscar-winning film Almost Famous. He was also the filmmaker behind hits Vanilla Sky, Elizabethtown and Jerry McGuire, among many others.
Let's read what he has to say. This book was released in 2025, so pretty recent for a book.
PLEASE NOTE: A DIFFERENT VENUE. We will meet at StompCoffee in North Perth this month, for a change. It's on Angove Street, just up from the Rosemount Hotel on the left. There is a small passageway you can take to their garden seating.
