Parastudy: Center for Education, Arts, Humanities, and Reflection
Our mission is to create a welcoming environment where people of all ages can gather to experience art, culture, knowledge, and reflection. Parastudy brings together, artists, thinkers, teachers, and seekers to share ideas, develop creativity, and explore both the known and the mysterious aspects of human experience.
Established in 1959, Parastudy, Inc. welcomes individuals from all walks
of life, backgrounds, and experiences. We believe that culture, art, and reflection are essential to building understanding and connection within the community. Through exhibitions, workshops, lectures, creative programs, we provide opportunities for individuals to express themselves, learn from diverse traditions, and engage in meaningful dialogue.

During the Fair will also be our monthly Art Exhibition taking place. July’s Artist is Jessica Yancey, she will be showcasing her one-of-kind photography “Echoes Beneath the Stone.”

Join us for Jessica Yancy Solo Art Exhibition "Echoes Beneath the Stone"
Jessica Yancey is a photographer who wanders among old stones and quiet paths, drawn to places where time seems to rest. Her work explores the fragile boundary between memory and forgetting, seeking beauty in weathered markers, shifting light, and landscapes shaped by generations of remembrance.
Through her photographs, Jessica listens for the stories that remain long after voices have faded.
Moss-covered names, worn carvings, and forgotten corners become meditations on history, loss, and endurance. Rather than documenting cemeteries as places of mourning alone, she approaches them as living archives-spaces where nature, memory, and human experience continue to intertwine.
Her images invite viewers to pause, reflect, and consider the traces we leave behind, finding in these quiet places not only echoes of the past, but also moments of grace, wonder, and connection.
