New York City Art Meetup is a social art network for Artists & Art Lovers. Our group helps solve the ever increasing need of emerging Artists/Singers/Musicians in networking, promoting & creating collaborative art projects. Our goal is to create Meetups where Artists & Art Lovers can share & discover new art works from painting to metal music.
We will create, participate & cover events together with the help of our Official partner PlayTheMove.com, the movement of #FreedomOfArt on Twitter. Thanks to @PlayTheMove & its 100k+ active followers from all around the word, we as Artists & Art Lovers we will share & promote artists from our beloved city New York.

Come on out and check out this unique twist on speed dating. Join us for a unique social event for singles in NYC! Come on out and make new social connections, win raffle prizes and meet other fun singles.
Our friendly host will welcome everyone and then you'll be grouped off into separate tables where you'll get to meet, chat with and play fun social games with other singles in small groups of about 5-7 people. Then, similar to traditional speed dating, you'll rotate from table to table getting a chance to meet all the other singles in attendance. You'll be handed a "match sheet" and at the end of the event you'll be able to indicate people you'd like to talk to again in the future. If they also choose you, our host will send you each others' contact information within about 48 hours after the event and you can feel free to set up a date with them.

You're invited to this fun, creative, social, and fun event! We will be painting in Central Park under the guidance of a master artist! Please bring something to sit on (towel is fine).

DIRECTIONS TO FIND THE GROUP:
We are located in a cul-de-sac at PINETUM EAST. We will be behind this row of benches (right under the trees). If you are coming from the east side you can find us by entering Central Park on East 84th street. Walk up the ramp, cross over the road and head west. If you are traveling from the west side we are east of the basketball courts. We will email you with more precise instructions after you sign up.What to expect:
• Step-by-step, group-oriented painting instruction, which is designed to simultaneously entertain and enlighten our members.
• We'll have a professional artist guide you through a featured painting that is yours to keep and proudly display. And don’t worry — no experience is necessary.
• 2 hour course lead that teaches you the art of mixing colors, blending and painting techniques.
• All supplies provided - 12x16 pre-sketched canvas, unlimited acrylic paint (water based), brushes, and aprons.

After you sign up we'll send you an email with a list of different industries and interests to choose from. Each industry/interest will have a different "secret symbol". This secret symbol will let the other event attendees know what industry/industries you're in or what topic/topics you're interested in. Once you select what industry and/or topics you're interested in you'll be directed to a page with printable paper bracelet templates with your secret symbol on them. You can select one industry or multiple industries or topics. Speed Dating Event In Brooklyn

At this event you will be going on a series of about 10 to 15 mini dates with each date lasting about 5 minutes each. Women stay seated and the men rotate from table to table until they meet each woman.

You will get a match card and at the end of each mini-date you'll indicate whether or not you'd like to see the person again. At the end of the evening you will hand your match card in to the event host. If you both select each other, we will send you each others' email address the next day so you can set up a future date! Within 24 hrs, you'll receive an email with the first name and email of your mutual matches. We do not give out names or contact info unless there is a mutual match.
Our Speed Dating events tend to attract quality, single professionals who are done with the dating games and ready to meet that special someone. Most people know within a few minutes if they would like to see someone again.Covid-19 precautions:
