NJ Deep and Interesting Conversations

What do we really mean when we say something is GOOD or EVIL? When we call an action "wrong" or a choice "right," are we pointing to something universal and unchanging, or are we expressing values shaped by our particular time and place?

In this session, we'll slow down to explore how ideas of good and evil manifest in our inner lives, our relationships, and our societies. Rather than debating or trying to "win" an argument, we'll reflect, question our assumptions, and listen with genuine curiosity. This is an invitation to think deeply about moral frameworks, not as a challenge to anyone's beliefs, but as a shared inquiry into how we understand right and wrong across different perspectives and traditions.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a space for exploration, and constructive dialogues, where we listen as deeply as we share and make room for each other's reflections.

You don't need any philosophical background, just curiosity and openness to questions that don't have easy answers. Some moments may feel uncomfortable, and that's okay. That's often where meaningful insight happens.

Question will Explore:

1. How do you define a good person and an evil person?
2. Are people born evil, or does life experience make them that way? If life experience makes them that way, why do people with similar experience turn out differently?
3. Are good and evil universal, or are they shaped by culture, and history?
4. How does labeling others as “evil” limit our ability to understand them?
5. Does good exist independently of humans, or do we create it through meaning and agreement?
6. Is the capacity for evil a sign of moral failure or of being human?
