What we’re about
Hi! I’m looking to connect with other neurodivergent women — especially those who are level 1 autistic (Aspie) and navigating life with that mix of strengths and struggles that neurotypical folks don’t always “get.”
This is for women in their late 20s, 30s, or 40s (older welcome too!) — moms and non-moms alike — who want real connection without feeling like they have to “mask” all the time. I’m hoping to meet people who are weird in the good way — creative, thoughtful, kind — not creepy or pushy.
I just moved to Missouri from California, and honestly, that’s been a big transition I’m still processing. I’d love to meet people who understand what it’s like to navigate change while also being neurodivergent.
You don’t have to be Christian, but if you are, you might find that we’ll have some shared values and conversations.
A little about me: I’m into photography, videography, poetry, writing, and psychology. I’m okay with light conversation, but too much eye contact can be draining for me — so if you get that, you’re my kind of people. I also have a one-year-old son who is neurodivergent himself, loves people, and would love to meet a friend or two.
Important: I’m hoping to connect with women who are local enough to meet regularly in the Ballwin, MO area. This way we can truly build an in-person community instead of just an online one — realistically, I won’t be able to manage both. I’m also a morning person, so I’d love for meetups to happen earlier in the day, ideally wrapping up by 6 pm.
What I’m envisioning:
- Coffee or tea at my house or at a park
- Photography and creative walks
- Creative brainstorming talks
- Psychology, parenting, and child development conversations
- Opportunities to glean wisdom in mothering and parenting from other women
- Learning new things like crocheting — especially from people who know how to teach someone who struggles to grasp these “complex yet not complex” hobbies
