At Nataraja School of Traditional Yoga, Yoga is a way of life for physical, mental and spiritual development.  We honor & offer authentic practices distinct from mainstream branded and commercialized yoga. Honoring ancient sanskrit wisdom, upholding the integrity and maintaining the purity of tradition.

Specializing in a bona-fide lineage based comprehensive yogic system and yogic/ayurvedic diet, wellness and lifestyle practices that support and strengthen our yogic development.  We emphasize & support practitioners to establish a self directed practice.

Learn a comprehensive prānāyāma based system distinct from other vinyāsa & modern practices.

A subtle system based on the movement of prāna with over 700 intelligently sequenced conscious breath precision movement variations, subtle practices - mudra, mantra, salutations to the sun & directional spheres, seated Himalayan prānāyāma(yogic breathing) including Cleansing kriyās, Ujjāyi Variations, Solar, Lunar & Soli-Lunar practices & Samantraka Prānāyāma, Mudra, Pratyāhāra, Subtle & Contemplative Practices in 12 Kramas.

The whole process gradually transforms the body and mind, releasing old patterns of physical and mental tension and dysfunctional patterns of movement.
