What we’re about
Welcome to Napa Valley Hikers!
We host beginner and moderate level hikes once a month typically on Saturday mornings around Napa Valley.
A moderate level hike is generally two to four miles with moderate terrain and a cumulative elevation change of 250' to 500' per trail ratings.
Please Note:
🥾 Plan to arrive on time. We will wait 10 minutes and then set out on the hike.
🥾 If you are running late or can’t find Lisamarie, please leave a message on the event page. I monitor this page as the event begins.
🥾 This group is open to all ages and fitness levels, but you are responsible for determining if the hike is a fit for you.
🥾 Hosting Meetup groups costs $360/year. If you feel led to contribute to the cost of the group, I am on Venmo and Zelle at lisamarie@paperandglam.com.

When you arrive at the park and pay the admission fee at the kiosk, drive all the way to the back of the park until you cannot drive anymore. You will see picnic tables and parking near a chainlink fence. The trailhead is over a mile into the park from the Visitor's Center, so DO NOT PARK AT THE VISITOR'S CENTER unless you want a 1+ mile warm up hike.
Let’s spend a day under the towering giants of Armstrong Redwoods, where the sunlight filters through ancient branches and the air is fresh with the scent of the forest. We’ll wander the serene paved paths together, soaking in the beauty of trees that have stood for centuries, and share great conversation along the way. Bring your sense of wonder, a comfy pair of shoes, and let’s make some memories in one of California’s most magical groves.

Set out on this enchanting hike and discover a path where nature and history intertwine. Step into Napa’s pioneer era as you wander beneath shaded canopies, trace the footsteps of early settlers, and stand by a living piece of engineering history in action. It’s a surprisingly rich journey—past the mill, through memory, and amidst the redwoods. This moderate hike provides an overview of Napa Valley's pioneer history.
