Join our intimate Weekday Evening Prayer group, inspired by the rich traditions of the Book of Common Prayer. Whether you're a longtime practitioner or new to this beautiful form of worship, all are welcome to share in this weekly gathering of hearts and voices.
What to Expect:
When: Weekday evening, starting at 7:00 PM (lasting about 25 minutes). Fellowship available before and after.
Where: Hosted in a cozy private home in Mobberly Farms community, Pilot Point, TX. (Exact address shared upon RSVP for privacy and safety.)
Format: We'll follow the Evening Prayer service from the Book of Common Prayer, including readings, psalms, prayers, and a brief time for reflection or sharing. No prior experience needed – we'll provide copies of the prayer book or digital access.
Who It's For: Open to adults/Families of all backgrounds who appreciate structured, communal prayer. This is a non-denominational space focused on spiritual nourishment, community building, and finding solace in ancient words.
Sponsorship: Proudly sponsored by the Jurisdiction for Armed Forces Chaplains and the Anglican Chaplains® - Education, Training, & Formation (Anglican.Training), supporting spiritual growth and community connection.
In a fast-paced world, these evenings offer a sacred pause – a chance to unwind, recharge your spirit, and build meaningful connections with like-minded individuals. Come as you are; bring your open heart (and perhaps a favorite mug for post-prayer tea if you'd like!).
Our first meeting is scheduled for 10 November 2025. Spots are limited to ensure an intimate atmosphere, so RSVP early!
If you have questions or suggestions, feel free to message the organizer. Let's create a community rooted in prayer and grace. 🙏

Midday Prayer
·OnlineOnlineWelcome to the Midday Prayer (BCP) TCF Small Group. This gathering will meet weekly, and the group will run in two semesters, one before Memorial Day, and the second beginning after Labor Day. These rhythms allow us to pray together consistently while following the natural flow of the work calendar.
This weekly time of prayer is a chance to pause in the middle of our day, re‑center our hearts, and connect with the Almighty.
You are welcome to join virtually or from a conference room, whichever suits your schedule. In addition to our regular weekly prayer, we’ll schedule periodic in‑person lunches for casual, unstructured connection and conversation. And if there’s interest, we can also schedule a Morning Prayer field trip as a special group activity or an after work social (we have done this in the past).
Noonday Prayer is part of the historic Daily Office, a structured and time‑tested rhythm of prayer rooted in the early monastic tradition. The Daily Office provides a guided framework for worship that shapes us over time and helps answer the disciples’ request, “Lord, teach us to pray.”
In the midst of our workday, Noonday Prayer helps us turn our attention back to God. As the psalmist says, “From the rising of the sun to its setting, let the name of the Lord be praised.” Wherever you find yourself, between meetings, settling into lunch, or working remotely, you are welcome to join us. I am also open to scheduling this on a different weekday if the group needs.Thank you for joining us. I look forward to praying with you, sharing fellowship, and growing together in this ancient practice of midday prayer.
Blessings,
Ben Knoblet https://www.dailyoffice2019.com/office/midday_prayerWhat Noonday Prayer Typically Includes:
