Synopsis:
Sentimental Value is the long-awaited new film by Joachim Trier (The Worst Person in the World), once again starring Renate Reinsve. The film explores the difficult and complex relationship between an absent father and his daughters.

The film follows actress Nora and her sister Agnes, who recently lost their mother. When their estranged father, the successful filmmaker Gustav, contacts them again with a script, he offers Nora the lead role. This is a first step in rebuilding the bond between father and daughters. Sentimental Value is Norway’s Oscar submission and won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival.
