We are a group of active singles 50+ in Monmouth County, NJ who enjoy spending free time doing fun things and meeting new people. If that sounds like you, you might like our group. Your input on activities will be appreciated! We will plan a variety of seasonal events that provide the opportunity to freely interact with group members. Depending on what we are doing, we will plan for refreshments. The more the merrier, so please join us!

FOR WOMEN ONLY! Beginner-level kayak tour with instruction.
Meetup Ladies,
I am very excited to invite you to participate in a small group instructional kayak + tour on Saturday, June 21 at 2:45 (for a 3 pm start). The Kayak tour is intended for complete beginners and for women only. Our tour will be led by Kira Lang from Paddle Time Kayak. Kira is an ACA Level 2 Certified Instructor.Please register and pay at the following link:

The cost is $50.68 (single kayak) or $90.10 (two-person kayak) for a 1 ½ hour session that will include start-to-finish instruction on how to kayak. The group is limited to 10 women (12 if the 2 two-person kayaks get filled). Follow the above link to register and prepay directly with Paddle Time Kayaks.
I got the idea to organize this activity because learning to kayak is very daunting! I thought this would be a safe and fun way to try kayaking in a supportive environment. Questions? Please private message me.
