## About the Program
Curious about Mahamudra? Wondering how meditation can help you work with emotions rather than against them? Join Khenpo Karma Tenkyong for a free online Q&A and discover why this profound tradition continues to inspire practitioners around the world.
The Mahamudra tradition emphasizes the experience of innate wisdom that can be discovered in all aspects of our experience on and off the cushion. Rather than regarding our emotionality as a hindrance, the Mahamudra tradition invites us to look directly into the experience of our emotions as a source of inspiration and wisdom.
Whether you are new to Buddhist meditation or a longtime practitioner, this is an opportunity to learn from a renowned teacher known for his depth of knowledge. Bring your questions about Mahamudra meditation practice, working with emotions, or the upcoming retreat.

Drala Mountain Center - Turning Inward: An Evening of Yin and Restorative Yoga
·OnlineOnlineRegister for Free Here: https://www.dralamountain.org/program/o-ti826-turning-inward-an-evening-of-yin-and-restorative-yoga/
## FREE ONLINE PROGRAM: Turning Inward: An Evening of Yin and Restorative Yoga
August 4th, 6:00 - 7:30 pm Mountain Time
Tuition: The Drala Online Practice Series is offered free of charge in the spirit of generosity. In the Buddhist tradition, dāna is a heartfelt act to express appreciation, support the teachings, and give from the heart. An opportunity to make a tax-deductible donation of any amount is provided at registration. Thank you for supporting this time-honored tradition of generosity.
## About the Program
Turning Inward is a 90-minute practice designed to slow you down and bring you home to yourself. Through a thoughtful blend of yin yoga, where supported poses are held for several minutes to gently release tension held through the body, and restorative yoga, which uses bolsters (pillows), blankets, and blocks to cradle the body into comfortable stillness and rest, this class offers a sanctuary from the pace of the day. Expect calm, unhurried transitions, and a sequence that moves from quiet presence into deep rest. No props at home? No problem! This class is thoughtfully built so you can use what you already have: couch cushions, bed pillows, folded blankets, whatever is within reach.
## What Will Participants Get Out of This Program?
In a world that constantly asks us to move faster and do more, Turning Inward offers a necessary antidote. Students may find that holding yin postures for extended periods creates space not just in the body, easing tension in the hips, spine, and shoulders, but also in the mind, as the nervous system gradually shifts from a state of activation into one of ease. The restorative portion of class goes even further, inviting a depth of relaxation that can feel genuinely nurturing, helping to reduce stress hormones, improve sleep quality, and restore a sense of inner spaciousness. This evening practice might just offer you the reset you need.
