What we’re about
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL THE EVENTS IN THIS GROUP HAVE A SEPARATE BOOKINGS PROCESS. THIS GROUP IS DESIGNED TO PROMOTE OTHER PEOPLS EVENTS SO MANY PEOPLE DON'T SHOW THAT THEY'RE GOING HERE ON MEETUP EVEN THOUGH THE EVENTS I'M PROMOTING ARE WELL ATTENDED.
Milton Keynes has a whole variety of networking meetings and events to cater for all tastes. This group is a very open group designed to introduce you to a variety of business networking opportunities. Although I do run my own Milton Keynes Business Networking Club this meetup group is not all about promoting that. I will promote every business networking meeting that people tell me about even if they conflict with my own.
I believe that every business owner and professional is different and they all have different goals and ambitions or they are at different stages in their business building process. So, they will like different formats, different times of the day, different days of the week and different venues. Some people also like online events these days. Business Networking definitely isn't one size fits all.
Please feel free to ask me any questions about business networking on 07903 655 169 or email me at mark@pritingandmailing.co.uk I love helping people get the most out of their business networking and enjoy themselves at the same time.
IF YOUR EVENT IS A THINLY DISGUISED SALES PROMOTION FOR MULTI LEVEL MARKETING WHICH IS SOMETIMES CALLED "NETWORK MARKETING" I WON'T BE ABLE TO HELP YOU.

- Defending Yourself Against Cyber Attacks at Business Growth Club Milton KeynesWindmill Hill Golf Centre, Milton Keynes
# Defending Yourself Against Cyber Attacks?
### What are you doing about it?
https://businessgrowthclub.co.uk/events/cyber-security
Your IT and computer systems are all under constant attack by bad actors that are very sharp and completely ruthless.
Alan Bullen is the founder of Lynx Networks who are IT and Cyber Security experts. Alan will be covering some simple, easy to implement precautions and safety measures that you can put in place right now to strengthen your defences.
Protection is so much cheaper and easier to deal with than the massive disruption caused by a successful cyber attack. How long could your organisation continue if you lost control of all your IT and computer systems?
Safety measures are even more important for small businesses because they're far more likely to be attacked by ransomware than larger businesses.

Alan Bullen founded Lynx Networks in 1988 and is still at the helm. In that time he's built the company beyond its original data cabling function into a full service IT support business including cyber-security and cyber essentials.
Alan has worked with many small businesses as well as larger clients which gives him a depth or real world knowledge. He really knows his stuff and has many happy customers.

mark@printingandmailing.co.uk - Powered Up Business (PUB) Networking the First Thursday Monthly 7:30pm to 9:30pmThe Dolphin Pub, Newport Pagnell
This month we are in The Dolphin on Newport Pagnell High Street!
YOU MUST BOOK YOUR PLACE ON EVENTBRITE - DON'T JUST TURN UP
Powered Up Business Networking (PUBNetworking) is an “out of hours” networking event that does away with the usual networking formalities.
You’ll get to learn about the people behind the business - without a torrent of sales pitches …and bland tea and coffee. And you’ll get to have a lot of laughs whilst you’re at it!As you know, the best business connections are the people you want to spend time with outside of work. They’re the people you can trust, and whose company you enjoy. PUBNetworking is the place to find them.
We have a loose structure, relaxed atmosphere and the opportunity to learn from other business experts - with no strings attached.Just bring yourself, your e-ticket and your best smile and you’re good to go.
Each event has four objectives…
Meet awesome people
We have a wide range of business people that attend. From start-ups to those with 30 years experience - across a wide range of industries. Everyone that attends is under no obligation to attend (we have no memberships, or contracts) so they’re there purely to meet people like you.
Build long-lasting relationships
We believe in a 'people buy from people' philosophy. In a relaxed environment, everyone feels comfortable and the connections you make are less forced, and more genuine. You’ll get to know each person in more detail - and have a good time doing so.
Learn things without pitches
Each event is productive and valuable. And we want everyone to walk away having learned something new. Our speakers offer genuine value, without sneaky sales pitches. We want you to take what you learn and use it to benefit your business.
Have fun
And above all, we want you to have fun. Sometimes that’s easier with a drink in your hand (it also makes the terrible jokes slightly more tolerable…). Our networking events are all about you, your passions and your business success.
What’s happening this month?
For this event, our speaker is the awesome Emma Hammerton. Her talk is called "Mental health, why business owners can’t ignore it."
Running a business is tough, and it’s easy to forget to look after yourself. In this talk, Emma will share why mental wellbeing isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. She’ll cover how stress affects you and your team, why small changes make a big difference, and how looking after your mind can help your business thrive. There’ll even be a short interactive demo with simple hand reflexology points anyone can try.
