What we’re about
Miami Moviegoers, grab your popcorn, and let’s go to the movies! This group is designed to connect cinema lovers in the South Florida area and to advocate for the theater experience. If you want to join, it’s simple: all you have to do is buy your ticket ahead of time and show up. And perhaps purchase some concessions when you’re there! Also, we often plan pre or post screening events where we can hang out and talk about everything film.

The Masque of the Red Death and Edgar Allen Poe Deathiversary at the Library
Coral Gables Branch Library, 3443 Segovia St., Coral Gables, FL, USMiami Moviegoers, let's go to the library! We are gathering a group of like-minded movie lovers together at the Coral Gables Branch Library for The Masque of the Red Death in honor of Edgar Allen Poe's Deathiversary! This event is presented in collaboration with Hexed Miami.
The doors will open at 3:00 PM. This event will feature live readings, media based on his works, and other surprises.

Frankenstein (1931) with Live Score at Technique Records
Technique Records, 880 NE 79th St, Miami, FL 33138, Miami, FL, USMiami Moviegoers, let's go to a record store and celebrate Halloween! The Miami Moviegoers are teaming up with Technique Records for a special Halloween season presentation of Frankenstein (1931)! This screening will feature the sounds of Bruce Palmer accompanying the film.
The showing will be followed by a social event taking place at the store, where Moviegoers can celebrate the spooky season and get to know each other better. Costumes encouraged!
