With the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI), leveraging AI to expand e-commerce markets has become a prevailing trend. In view of this, following the initial three seminars covering the key areas of “Supply”, “Demand” and “Connect”, the SME E-commerce and New Market Development Academy series will hold three additional seminars. To support the Government’s initiative to develop artificial intelligence (AI) as a core industry and to enable traditional sectors to upgrade and transform through AI adoption, the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) is organising the 2026 seminar series “AI Empowerment: Enhancing Industry Capabilities.”
The seminar titled “Predictive Analytics in Construction: Enhancing Safety and Efficiency” will bring together leading business leaders, industry experts, and technology innovators to explore how AI technology is transforming the construction industry.

We aim to foster collaboration and the exchange of ideas, promote best practices, explore practical collaboration and deployment models, and identify opportunities for advancing predictive analytics to enhance construction safety and efficiency in Hong Kong. The seminar will also support the industry’s evolution in alignment with government initiatives on smart city, helping unlock safer, smarter, and more resilient construction practices.
