What we’re about
Grey Havens Philosophy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that teaches people of all generations to think critically and creatively through philosophy. We do this by discussing big ideas inspired by our favorite bits of pop culture. In our discussions that we hold in public spaces, we follow the 4 Cs: Critical (what you think and why you think it), Collaborative (equal participants), Creative (explore new-to-you ideas), and Caring (listen until others are finished, give reasons for agreeing/disagreeing). All ideas are welcome, but we uphold respect and inclusivity for all. Currently, we host monthly discussions in Longmont, Colorado for Lord of the Rings (first Mondays, 6:30 pm at Parkway Food Hall) and Star Trek (third Thursdays, 7:00 pm at St. Vrain Cidery).
