Welcome to the 20s 30s Newark Wilmington Social Group! Join us for fun-filled gatherings, meet new friends, and explore exciting activities in the Newark and Wilmington areas. Whether it's grabbing a bite to eat, exploring local attractions, or simply enjoying each other's company, our group offers a vibrant community for young adults looking to socialize and connect in the Newark and Wilmington regions.
GROUP RULES

1. Individual members should RSVP to an event and if their plans change, please update your plans to “not going”. Individuals with 3 or more “no show” will be removed from the group. This is important as head counts help organizers to decide when and where to schedule events. Extenuating circumstances are an exception to the “no show” rule.

2. Members should have an identifiable photo and their username be their first name or preferred name. This is important for other members and organizers to know who to look for.

3. The organizers expect individuals joining this group to respect other members, and behave following a basic code of civility and conduct. We have members from different backgrounds and expect the atmosphere to be welcoming and conducive to everyone. The organizers take any inappropriate behavior very seriously, and individuals disrupting the normal discourse of this group will be banned from this club.

Delaware Saengerbund Oktoberfest
Delaware Saengerbund, 49 Salem Church Road, Newark, DE, USDelaware Saengerbund invites you to a three-day celebration of German food, culture and beer!
🇩🇪 About: Originally a private party for club members, the Delaware Saengerbund's (DSB) Oktoberfest opened to the public in 1979! Just like with the Munich Oktoberfest, the DSB's Oktoberfest is held the third weekend in September.
🎟️ Admission Price: Admission for this event is $10.00, which includes unlimited amusement rides.
💳 Payment During the Event: The event uses ticketless "Magic Money" digital credits - no more paper tickets. Food and beverages can be purchased using a reusable, plastic festival card. There is a one time cost of $2.00 for the card, but it can be reloaded and reused during the duration of the festival. Kiosks are conveniently located on festival grounds.
🚗 Parking: Parking is FREE at Christiana High School, and shuttles will be available to and from the event.
🍻Drinks: 7 traditional German beers, as well as a wide selection of domestic and local craft beers will be on tap. Wine, ciders, and non-alcoholic beverages such as soda, water and coffee are available as well.
🥨 Food: A variety of traditional German and German-American foods will be available, as well as plenty of deserts.
🪗 Music: Enjoy music and dancing with DSB's Bavarian dance group and house band throughout the festival.
🎡 Amusement Rides: Included in the admission price are unlimited amusement rides. Midway games are available at an extra cost.
🛍️ Shopping: Oktoberfest souvenirs and gifts will be available for purchase.
