DDW @ PLAN-B Music Nights | Social Listening Sessions
October 22–24, 2026 | 19:30–21:30 each evening
👉 Free entry

As part of DDW at Night, DDW @ PLAN-B presents three evenings of shared listening, live sound and conversation. Come for one session or join us across all three nights.

Look closer, and listen closer.
The Social Listening Sessions invite you to experience music as something shared rather than simply something playing in the background. Across three nights, three different artists will each take over one evening, bringing their own approach to sound, storytelling, performance and the relationship between music, people and space.

The sessions take place in Lotje Lunchroom & Koffiebar inside PLAN-B. The daytime DDW @ PLAN-B: LOOK CLOSER exhibition closes before the evening programme begins, with PLAN-B reopening for Music Nights from 19:30.

✨ You can join us for one evening or come along to experience all three.

Share the Music Behind the Music
The first night is a participatory Record Night hosted by KinefDesigns. Guests are invited to bring a vinyl record or CD, choose one or two songs, and share the story behind what they have brought.
That story might be about the artist or recording, a memory connected to the track, an interesting piece of musical history, or simply why the song means something to you. Through listening and sharing, the evening becomes a collective experience of music, discovery and conversation.
The selections will be played through KinefDesigns’ handcrafted high-fidelity speakers, allowing everyone to listen closely together.

For the second night, Synth Ceremony presents a live set exploring a ritual between man and machine.
Using synthesizers and live hardware, the performance explores sound and rhythm in real time. The evening offers a different kind of Social Listening Session: one built around live electronic performance, experimentation and the evolving relationship between performer, machine and audience.

The final night features vvessel, a sound artist working at the intersection of music, sound and space.
Through custom compositions, sound design and live performance, vvessel creates immersive sonic experiences that respond to and help shape the environments they inhabit. For this special live set, the sound and PLAN-B’s concrete surroundings become part of the same experience, using drones, suggestive modular beats and improvisation.
