About us
Life is an adventure! This group will focus on exploring our world through adult hiking, cultural and social outings designed for independent participants. If you are interested in connecting with new people (who are 50 and over) to share adventures and camaraderie, and you love to explore new opportunities in our area and beyond, please sign up! This group loves the outdoors, so we plan to do hikes in the 2–4 mile range, as well as get together for tours of historic sites, movies, dining, and so much more! We are also planning on a couple of overnight getaways to explore a little farther from home. It will be an adventure, and we hope you will join us.

Get outside and explore the garden or learn something new in the galleries. Enjoy activities around the estate such as crafting, a curator-guided gallery walk, and story time. Activities offered until 4:00 pm. Museum and galleries open until 5:00 pm.
Please be aware that parking is limited, and they expect a large turnout early in the day.

It was built for the Widener family. A father and son, George and Harry, boarded the Titanic in 1912 and never came home. Inside were more than 2,000 artworks that later helped found the National Gallery of Art. This fall, for the first time in generations, the doors open. You can walk in.
Lynnewood Hall will host its first public exhibition in more than 80 years, a floral showcase called Fleurs de Villes inspired by HBO's The Gilded Age.
For visitors, it's a rare chance to walk through rooms that once held one of America's great art collections, and to stand where a family shaped by the Titanic once lived.
Transportation: free shuttle bus included with ticket entry, limited onsite self-parking for $10 per vehicle, and valet service for $25 per vehicle.
